NAZ, I have already completed my ECA for immigration purposes. I tried to order the duplicate to CRNNL, but was unable to find it. Is it mandatory that WES submit its ECA report to CRNNL? Alternatively, we can use our email address to do that?

Nowadays Newfoundland does not require IELTS if your Nursing course was done in the English language or you have worked in an English environment. Again It depends on which country you belong to.

If Your NNAS report says your program was in English, no need to IELTS now.

But I didn't work for the entire year of 2023. How will it affect my application for obtaining my NL RN license? I am already here in NL, I just wonder which is better, whether to apply first for ECA from NNAS or I can proceed directly with my CRNNL application? I graduated with a degree of BSN in Philippines. you are eligible to apply with one year gap. You can directly apply to CRNNL with any ECA report. No need for NNAS

If you already have a LPN license, try to come to NL with a job. it will make things easier for you. Try to search for a job before coming to NL, you will get it easily as yo u already have the license.

You can do any of the educational credential assessment services. If they refer you for NCAS they will guide you the whole process.
How NNAS can be replaced with an ECA report? I didn't understand this

Did you use CSI screening or did you obtain CRC at your local police then mailed it to the college?
When registering, CRNNL will tell you all the details of the documents and how to send them. If you have any query kindly email them. They will respond.
I used CSI screening as I am already in Canada.

Hello just a question… once we submitted the required document, what is next? Specially that i still dont have NCLEX… will they give us authorize to take the NCLEX exam?
If your country falls under the designated countries, hopefully you will get the eligibility to write the NCLEX, otherwise, they will assess your documents and give the decision accordingly.

Wes process I did for immigration purpose, still it valid, how to evaluate my nursing license, what other step I have to compete to apply for nursing license their, my immigration process already tarted in USA but it will take long time bcz of the current ression and backlog, Thanks if you can help us and contact information if you can share Thanks
Once you start the application with CRNNL, you can ask WES to submit your ECA directly to CRNNL. Nursing License Evaluation will be done by CRNNL.

You will need to pay for the license, which is around 400 Canadian dollars, and the Professional liability protection fee of around 70. For NCLEX, you need to prepare on your own.

Since you are from Philippines, you fall in the category of designated countries pathway. When you will start filling the application for CRNNL then they will give you options for how to submit the documents.

@@Daniel03Samuel07 WES report done for IRCC will be different from what we have to send to CRNNL. You need to request to WES for the report for educational credentials to send to CRNNL directly

Yes, NCLEX is mandatory. CRNNL will assess all the documents and will give you the eligibility to write the exam.

The college does not require IELTS if your education was in English. You can email them to fasten your process.

Before applying to any Nursing board see their requirements and go for that. ECA is Educational Credential Assessment which is required in most of the nursing board.

NNAS report for Alberta cannot be used for NL, but you can go to NNAS website and port your report to NL with extra charges. Once your report is ported to NL, you can then apply to CRNNL and they will give you the eligibility to write NCLEX. once you get the eligibility , you can register for NCLEX.

Go to your country Police Station and ask they will guide you the process as it is different for every country

Sorry, I dont have any knowledge about Nova Scotia. Once she clears her NCLEX she can get a permanent license to work in Nova Scotia. She can also apply for jobs meanwhile. The license can then be transferred to any province she wants to work in.

i dont think so. Once you clear your NCLEX you can get a permanent license to work in Nova Scotia. The license can then be transferred to any province you want to work in.
