- This done with "Sensible Map Borders" mod. This mod simply let player wandering beyond the edge of in-game world instead of forcing player back to in-game world.

In portuguese is like "... None but dragons play here..."
In Poland there's a phrase describing remote places - "Gdzie diabeł mówi dobranoc", which means "Where the devil says goodnight". It's probably a play on that here.
I didn´t check it for this location, but if I remember right (it´s long time I tried to cross world borders before), in Czech version the game says to you that the dragons are flying at the edge of the world, instead of devils playing there.

Its most likely that roach is born there.
Makes sense that CD project put it physically on the map, just outside the normal realm of play. Plus, putting it that close to the Temple of Lilvani probably sets it to start loading organically before the stage in the quest where you strictly need it.

@@Cblla Usually a good bet really, a common practice of hiding a "different" area under the real map to reduce the loading time.

I like how he still loots everything thoroughly, before intentionally falling off the edge of the map. Would've certainly done so myself. The real mental torture of that place, when played normally, was not the creepy surrounding or the eerie music or how O'Dimm suddenly screws you up with his tricks, but that there was so much loot and not nearly enough time to take it all...

Maybe the part where is the only way to get a unique, high tier sword for free with no repercussions. That was kind of weird design decision. If you don't let yourself get distracted by a shiny sword in Gaunter's evil hell world of distractions, you get punished for it by not getting your only chance at the viper sword.

Do you need a mod or is there a gap in the map boundary?
My theory is that she loses her magical powers when near Geralt, thats why the teleporting is always instantanious, but far away when he whistles. Also why horse who traverses continents and finds its owner whenever he is, despite all things, gets really stupid and alternative when trying to navigate the last gap

He is the master mirror, reflecting the person who makes the wishes in the wishes, he gave geralt what geralt wished without hurting geralt, while in olgierd he ruined his life
Very cool. I always thought this was a separate map. It's kind of a shame that there is a timer if you go there via the quest because you can't really appreciate all the work the devs put into this location.

If you are at the Bald Mountain tree you can see GO'd's house.
Also, if you stand just right you can see the tree from where the dream begins.
With borders off you can also go to the 2 Olgierd(sp) houses in the NE.
It's also fun to wander around the "Time and Space" quest away from the 'certain grumpy elf.'

I was hoping for some unique books about arcane and demons.
But Geralt only loots the books that he likes to read, as you can see since there are dozens of other books to choose from on the shelves.

This is a mod. With mods you can get anything before the "appropriate mission".

Roach can teleport to Gaunter O'Dimm's realm. I wonder why Roach didn't fight Eredin instead of Geralt. That horse is powerful enough to cross over to a world created by the devil itself all on her own
Eredin should kidnap Roach instead Ciri. it would be easy peasy. no military cost

Only 1 place in the game I witnessed roach not responding to my whistle and that was on undvik. You see I didn’t go to undvik at all until the quest so maybe that id the reason. But during the quest I couldn’t summon roach till I also found other creatures on the island, namely the sirens. Roach only came after other living forms were found.
Roach is the only one who's omnipresent in this game !! Probably omnipotent too!!

That mission honestly I was running here and there doing all the thing's that shouldn't be done , Like saving Shami and I took the Viper sword and chased after the Fake mirrors and Thanks to what the dog and cat said I found about that riddle in the last second
its amazing to think that in the DLC you don't even have to come here...
So when the game says "only devils play beyond this point", it means the literal devil himself in the game's universe

you can go there, but assets in that place are mostly removed from the game.

You can walk past borders if you glitch out of the map as ciri, the only thing is that you have to walk very far since ciri does not have a horse

I got there but the music didn't change and there are no bridges loaded. Also the mountain has a big hole in it and the mansion is under the ground floating. The cave isn't there and the loot is floating under the ground too . What the heck

The game cuts off when I try to penetrate the area and sends me back.

Check the video's description - this is only possible if you use a mod which disables teleporting you back if you try to leave the map.

Cant believe i played this game for soooo long till i realized that you actually can use those wooden boats.... and im talking about 30-50h ingame...
Whenever i had to go on a far island or so... i swam... i really swam.... and it was absolutely through luck that i realized those boats are a thing, i jumped on one (dunno why but the reason sure as hell was not to use it) and boom... a stupid "USE BOAT" appeared out of nowhere... hahaha
Feel so stupid now, and this is one of the best games ever made....

I tried this on Xbox with Roach Warping. I was able to swim underneath the outskirts of the area, but when I get too close, Geralt starts to dive rapidly and infinitely. I was able to get close enough to get the sky to change color though!
Damn I wish you would be able to fight real dragons outside the borders and not just be teleported...
Geralt doesn't fight dragons. That's why he doesn't go there, best ingame explanation.

you have to visit the place before defeating o'dimm. otherwise the assets of this place is gone for good

I have been trying for the last 30min but it's not working, everytime he says he has reached the world's end he turns back and I cant prevent it, when I tried too many times in a row the game froze I had to close it. I have killed O'Dimm already by the way, and freed Olgierd.
