Wow - I don't even know where to begin. The planning, design, and execution are mind boggling. And your ability to show the audience how it all works and fits together is amazing. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us!
Depends on how much Lego you have and your storage facilities. Too much without the adequate space can be hell. And sorting is an arduous task.... More Lego = More problems.
@@Pickchore I don't have problem with storage, all my parts are sorted by colour in 30 see-through plastic boxes and screw sorters that I bought from OBI. The problem is that I don't have many of each piece as I don't order from Brickling regularly. Wish I did.
My Lego is supposed to be sorted into different parts, eg Technic, large specific (eg trees), etc. Most of it is now not sorted, but then the rummaging around is part of the experience. Having the boxes anyway certainly helps though, helps split it up into more manageable 'chunks'
I love the satisfying cracking sound when he presses down the LEGO stud holes into the LEGO studs. The clicking sounds when he does that is just as satisfying as well.
The step-by-step demonstration of everything is fantastic, a stark contrast to some people who seem to not want to "divulge their secrets" or whatever.
PoisedFishy I clines see what ur saying but have you Seen the Lamborghini they released yesterday, I don’t think the sets are trash, they’re just overpriced
These models are so meticulously crafted, to the point where you can take us through every detail of your creative process by breaking the model into easy to digest chunks. I really enjoy this style of video, and your technical ability never fails to amaze me! Not to discredit the aesthetics by the way; the model looks beautiful, and those prairie dogs are adorable, each one unique and lovable!
Wow. I love the scenes y'all incorporated on the sides. Reminds me of how they hid the level 1-2 Mario level map in the Lego Nintendo. Cutest Lego critters I've seen yet.
I love the different clever techniques you use to pause the movement of the animals. I't wouldn't look as good if everything was just oscillating. Fun build and good editing as well!
This is the first video I’ve seen of yours (and not the last) but can I say how much I appreciate the content you make. Every video is engaging and it’s exciting to see what you’ve come up with next. I really liked this video :)
This is so awesomely cute! I truly wish you would post instructions here on your website and/or ReBrickable! So adorable. Love your creations, keep them coming!
ADORABLEEEEE I love how you gave the lower body to the first dog even though that part is hidden under the ground. The variation in motion is brilliant. And last but not least, the minimal, clean bison and tractor are fantastic This video is perfect, totally enjoyed watching every second of it (and again and again)
We have a Buffalo jump on our pasture NE of Calgary and lots of prairie dogs. This is beautiful. You’ve captured springtime on the prairies which is crazy w prairie dogs running all over so artistically. V joyful. 💚
I was half expecting it to be about how his sister was once bitten by a prairie dog... I'm sorry, the one responsible for this comment have been sacked.
It's the start/stop motion that does it for me. If the movements oscillated continuously, it wouldn't have nearly as much impact - and all achieved with such elegant mechanisms!
You can turn on captions for some insight into the build.
If you just want to see the finished model, you can skip to 6:18.
it s sooooo cute :3
Once again - LEGO should hire you no matter what. Your kinetic sculptures are magnificent.
so perfect, plus the fact that prairie dogs are my favourite animals!!
Great !!
LEGO should hire you to design a sculpture series.
The mechanics look so simple, but they are so perfectly designed in every detail, albosolutly perfect

Agreed. It’s amazing!
Cheers, thanks!
My thoughts exactly!

I wonder what it's like to just... have the necessary pieces.

I think Jason is continually buying random sets to keep the variety and quantity of parts high.

@@StaxRail I've been procrastinating for so long on sorting my LEGO, but summer and school being out will hopefully give me the time necessary.
The creaking of the lego pieces is oddly satisfying
His models should all be lego sets
Yes and i would deffinatly buy them all
He should put them on Lego Ideas
@@lasagaeater6891 he would if he wanted to. After all, several of his ideas have already become official sets.
The pop- up book and the ball maze are his two most recent sets. He’s had a few since then gain enough support but didn’t get accepted by LEGO

Please can Lego make this an official set
I need this in my life
No cause lego is just making trash sets now so😭😭😭😭😭

Kind of crunchy Lego ASMR 😀

ehh I like it better when they give me the *first bite*
Hah yeah i've never really realized how creaky lego is. It's both annoying and satisfying.
Have you ever used LEGO they always make those sounds
I immediately felt like "Awwww!!!" when that dog started wagging his tail! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is the cutest build ever!!!

The detailing on those walls is just- mwah.
That’s great, amazing how good the dogs look and you were able to get 4 different animations on one motor...really nice!!!
This is the most satisfying thing I've watched all day.
this needs to become an official lego set. i'd buy this :)
Was the idea to have each dog's movement cycle with incrementally greater periods? Seems that way, going anti-clockwise from the tail wagger! Love it
Pretty much. We definitely didn't want them in sync, to make it a little more visually interesting.

There is something with Lego bricks connecting each other making that satisfying crunch sound. Especially older Lego bricks.
I love the epic combo between function and form with this model!

Well because it's lego
