A pleasant enough version of this classic. Amazing to think that this was a dance tune in 1932. (The Jack Denny Orchestra with vocal by Paul Small.) Linda Scott's interpretation simply hit the spot as a cute teenage angst song prevalent in the late 50s and 60s. How many teenagers at the time new it was a song from an earlier generation? I didn't. It still has that lovely innocent feel sadly lacking in so much of today's offerings. DL .Staffordshire, UK.
@@keithorr6878 My wife and myself feel lucky to have seen a lot of artists from the sixties perform live. Gene Pitney, Don Mclean, Del Shannon. Plus most of the Merseysound groups including The Beatles. The most memorable artist though was Roy Orbison. A fantastic unforgettable performance.
@@davidlawuk1647 concerts have been where pretty well all my entertainment money went since the late ,60s but somehow never even heard of Nancy Boyd until about three years ago.
@@keithorr6878 Hi Keith, I did not know Nancy Boyd at all until researching the song a year ago. I do remember the Linda Scott version from back in the day !!! Here is my version of something you might or might not remember. ua-cam.com/video/mBqu6Q7IUCQ/v-deo.html Cheers.
Dum, da-dum Da-da-da-da-da-da-da Dum, da-dum Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da… I've Told Ev'ry Little Star" is a popular song with music by Jerome Kern and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, published in 1932. The song was introduced in the musical Music in the Air.[1] The first hit recording of the song was released in 1932 by Jack Denny and His Waldorf-Astoria Orchestra, featuring the vocals of Paul Small.[1] It has since been recorded and sampled by many artists, including Mac Miller on the track "Knock Knock" from his 2010 mixtape K.I.D.S..🎶🎷🥁🎸❤️

Yes my favourite song of this singer is "A love Concerto"❤
Nancy,, nowadays what are you doing? is everything good?
Cobus, What is Nancy Boyd doing these days? Is she still singing? I think she is an amazing talent. Great choreography.
Would also like to know!
Written in 1932- Jerome Kern.
This is not the girl
Nobody sang it better than the girl in the movie.
The girl in the movie sure sounded like Linda Scott but wasn't Linda Scott we were seeing.
Anyone know for sure if it was Linda Scott's voice.
The bells and clanging in the chorus spoil it for me.I will always love Linda Scotts version the best...
very delicious
