I just ordered my first desktop laser today. A Thunderbolt. The customer service was great! The ladies that helped me were awesome and returned my calls and answered emails. I won’t get my machine until mid December, but I’m patient. Lightburn was part of my package, so I’ll spend my time learning how to use it.
Thank you so much for the great video I have been going back and forth on whether or not to purchase and I think I'm going to pull the trigger now that I've seen your video.
I have the Nova 51 and I would recommend getting a towing company to bring it from the dock it makes life way easier What settings are you running to cut 1/2" power/speed the recommended is obviously 90% but I hate running the machine full tilt
Yeah I would definitely recommend a towing company. Getting it in our shop was a nightmare haha. For cutting1/2” birch I’ve been using the 4” head at 10mm/s and 80 or 85% power. Stock Air assist on full blast 👍
I used a few pieces of 2” pvc and rolled it off my trailer into my shop just me and my son. The delivery company used the lift gate and dropped it off onto my trailer.
@@TheOneWhoKnowsWhy_ I think the crate was 980lbs if I remember correctly it's been a few years We used the towing company because it was easier to drop the crate where we wanted it than to rent a forklift and use it for 5 mins

I'm considering buying my first laser now. I already like Thunder. Thank you for a very helpful video.
You’re welcome! We love our Thunder!

Do you do more mass production of small stuff or do you just want the size primarily for large things?

A towing company? How much does it weigh?
