PLEASE keep doing day in my life subbing videos. They are so fascinating to me! I don't know if UA-cam really has many people documenting their subbing experiences, so that makes your videos even more fun to watch. Keep giving us your thoughts on different grades/classes you sub (as much as you feel comfortable, of course)! It would be fun to see a video with you and Kyle! Maybe a q&a or discussing family/holiday traditions your families have throughout the year
I loved watching your busy week Madison!! I kinda knew you would like teaching Preschool kids because since you've said before you loved teaching 2nd grade!! I am so happy to still be here watching you and your journey! Also loved your hair they did a great job!
When you said 5th grade I immediately started praying for you…only based off how it is at my school. As teachers we are actually trying to get our district to move 5th grade to a different campus because it’s so unsafe to have them in the same school as our Pre-K. 😞
You have thick wavy hair like me. Use the curly girl method. Use a diffuser not a blow dryer. Use a wide tooth comb not a brush. Get a spray bottle and fill it with water and some conditioner and spray it through your hair each morning to detangle and refresh the curls. Use sulphate and silicone free shampoos and Conditioners and use a coconut oil in your hair weekly. When typing your hair up avoid elastic bands and use scrunchies. Use a t-shirt instead of a towel to dry your hair :)
love watching these when they come out! I also love how you are so comfortable with all these age ranges:) such a good experience! Also, I love your routines :))
Madison says, “That’s why I’m dressed a little bit cute today.” I’m like, “Girl who are you trying to fool. You always dress cute” Loving these subbing weekly vlogs!
My hair is insane too 🤣Honestly, I straighten it every day which is not too good for my hair but it works and helps the frizz too. Also, I love your update vids and I always look forward to watching them. I wish you the best in your teaching career❤
Mhmm... Fifth graders can be a hit or a miss 😅 It really depends on the kiddos and the overall structure that their teacher has set already. The hormones have been kicking in early, the attitudes can be in full force... I don't know about you, but I would have been terrified to have acted out as a student in any grade... nowadays that doesn't seem to be the case 😐 Like you said, though, I use those tougher days/moments as a learning experience and to help me brush up on classroom management skills! Great video!
For wavy hair that isn’t naturally CURLY but also isn’t straight enough to wear natural (aka my hair), I got one of the straightening brushes, I think mine was like $40 from Revlon. It’s changed the game. Even with long long hair, it takes maybe 5-10 minutes to get your hair just manageable. It’s not pin straight but it’s also not weirdly wavy/ poofy. 10/10 recommend for your type of hair!
How did it end up going with the older kids? Did you feel like they treated you like you were “too young” like you thought they might? Also that pre-k room is beautiful! The natural light 😊
