I really enjoy watching your diary-like videos. It's a refreshing style where we get a good insight into your comp routine. Edit and music were 👌 as well. It'll be a pleasure watching you learn and evolve in the future boulder and lead comps as in life itself.
from 28th to 8th to 3rd to... 1st in Prague? your progression's been insane. looking forward to seeing you and tomoa battle it out in future comps (but no pressure)!
@@TobyClimbingbro!!!! You fucking did it what a god! And with a huge battle on the last boulder too! Congratulations dude holy shit!! My favorite climber what a heart you got man! Keep it up!
A well deserved medal, I was so stoked for you at salt lake!. First time seeing you on the wall, you were a stand out and did amazing! I’m looking forward to watching you in the other comps!!! Congrats 🎉🎉
from the netherlands so i was watching the finals live at 2 am for me and i am glad i stayed up. amazing video, definitely subscribed and hope to see more in the future :)
Love these vids. Keep them coming. Would love to hear a few words on each of the boulders in the future like you did on the last video. Which were soft or straight forward, easy or hard to read and so on.
Huge congrats, awesome performance! Can you elaborate on the part where you said you take 2 rest days before a competition? I've had a coach say that before a competition I should do some super light climbing both days before a competition to prevent my muscles from going into full sleep mode, but personally I feel so good after 2 days of rest. Do you (and many other climbers) really just fully rest for 2 days before a comp? Or are you still doing light pulls/fingerwork/easy climbs?
It’s a very personal thing. I always take 2 days complete rest. I maybe go for a walk or something but never any climbing/ pulling. There are some people on the circuit who climb the day before or only take 1 day rest but it’s all personal choice and for me 2 days is enough to feel completely recovered. If you feel good after 2 days then take 2 days!
This is some of the best World Cup climbing content out there. Keep it up!
Thank you!
It is the best
absolute machine man, making us brits proud

You have a great ability to be patient and think through the difficulties and readjust. Congratulations Toby.
Thank you:) haha maybe sometimes too patient 😂

Great job last week, looks like the slab training paid off!
If I keep topping the slabs and not the power boulders I’m going to end up with an identity crisis 😅
@@TobyClimbing 😂

Come on Toby!!
I wanted to ask for a photo with you but too shy 😅, so I just said congratulations to you.
Ah you should have asked! 😊
Noticed you don't have ads? Is that because you're using footage of the boulders?
GL in the rest of the season!
No idea - pretty new to UA-cam. I’m just creating a new video and uploading…
holy u monstah
how tall and heavy are u
Jesus christ! MB5! I know that volume well, and I have no idea how you managed to mantle on that!!! Was it on slab?
I now also know that volume better than I was hoping 😅 yes I think the slab was a few degrees
@@TobyClimbing even still it's hard as balls! Amazing climbing dude. Are we gonna be seeing you climb at cliffhanger in Sheffield?
@@stephenTcartwright I’d love to… but unfortunately the British Bouldering Championships clashes with the Villars Lead World Cup 🤷🏻♂️
@@TobyClimbing awww shame! Good luck dude! You're putting on a hell of a performance right now 🙂
@@stephenTcartwright thanks 😊

Found myself in the video 😂
Nice job! Good luck for the rest season 🎉
