I like the way she does the presentation and her voice.

Very poor speaker and not worthy of the position she is holding , unsuitable to be a teacher lecturer or presenter.

@@E-Kat Brains, beauty and Minnie Mouse's voice. Two out of three ain't bad. Her lecture isn't the best, though she obviously knows of what she speaks. It could be more linear, historically, and target a common level of understanding in the wider, online audience. Prof. Medard is speaking to a university crowd.

@@gemanscombe4985 yes! I agree. Because of her lecture I've been reading lots about Hedy Lamar and must admit I didn't know much about her. She was ahead of time and a wonderful inspiration for women.

Answer me this simple question: were the PhD's and scholars in wireless communication at that time were so dumb that they did not come up with this idea that an actress out of nowhere invented.

They were not looking for it, in 1938 - this was her idea - also she was a genius, a scientist with an IQ almost as high as Einstein and Stephen Hawking. She wanted to try to get her mother on a boat from Europe at the start on WW2 and was worried about the torpedos so she came up with the idea to automatically shift and mask the radio frequencies and took the idea to the US Navy.

Hedy Lamarr thought ahead of her time. We should all give her recognition.

A possible answer for Jay. Perhaps the PhD and scholars in wireless communicaion were in the reseach and development stage. The people know as the masses were and still are, denied knowledge. What is a novelty for the masses was already known by a group that can be called a selected elite.

@@asenkumar The Laws of Physics govern the universe. Those laws are defined by mathematics. The Bible has a place in society, but not in math/physics.

I couldn't listen to the speaker's silly little girl voice. Such an interesting topic, but impossible to listen to this woman.
