Thanks ^^ My guitar is a 26.5" scale. My original tuning is GCGCFAD and I drop to EAEADF#B with The Drop pedal ( so 3 semitones down ). My string gauge is : 66-49-36-22-17-13-11
The tuning depend to my scale but I still use a .80. Here I use a .80 to a 26.5" scale to get the G♭ and I pitch the signal of 2 semitones to get E. In my opinion you can play E with a .80 but the tension depend to your guitar scale. For exemple with a 25.5" it work well but it's a little floppy.
