- Justification through Faith in the person and finished work of Jesus Christ!
Justification is a core essential doctrine of the Christian faith!
God's pardon for guilty sinners is granted to and received through faith alone, excluding all "works" (good deeds) Galatians 2:21/Romans 4:5
Works should be done by the believer as they are profitable unto men (Titus 3:8), and God desires us to serve others in love and truth (Ephesians 2:10) but NO WORKS of any kind can pardon us, save us, or keep us saved!

Dave, just noticed a comment of yours on David Benjamin's channel from Nov.18. You said that you believe that rewards are mentioned in Scripture, and David does not like to talk about receiving rewards. I agree with you... Rev. 1-3... The seven churches. Many rewards are mentioned for doing what God desired/commanded. Many. And this is speaking of the end times, in which we are currently living, so it is totally relevant. There WILL be rewards, or lack thereof, according to what we do our don't do. You speak truth! Amen!!

Lukewarm folks believe this too. So why they’re spewed out ? The question is what kind of Faith do we have☝🏾
Faith ALONE is destroyed in James. Without Work, such Faith is dead or saltless Faith. Faith Alone is like David sitting on fence doing nothing to defeat the Giant. Our Action shows our Faith or we judge by the Fruit.
This passage in James is written to Christians to encourage them to do good works which will make their faith mature and profitable to them and to others. There is no contradiction between James and Paul. When Paul speaks of justification through faith alone, he is speaking of judicial righteousness before God. When James speaks of justification by a faith that works, he is speaking of a practical righteousness displayed before other people. In Romans 3-5, Paul is discussing how to obtain a new life in Christ. In James, James is discussing how to make that new life profitable.
