14:00 Hatch the Magma raise it and cryo it until your level 95. That way it gets 15% more passive XP until you’re able to use it - More levels. I’ve said it before you’re literally a day behind exactly what I’ve been doing haha.

Hm.. that Unicorn thing is interesting. My information always was that there's only one wild Unicorn, but as soon as it's tamed, a new wild one spawns (That way you can still find one after someone else). That fitted with all the experiences my friends and I had in our projects. But what you just saw there is wild! xD Three at once, damn. No one will ever understand the unicorn mechanic.
Anything besides “official” you can find more. I don’t think it specifically has to do with his stats, if anything it’s more of officials stats that stop it. And I’m pretty sure even on official, Rag can have more than one. So that 1 unicorn is probably only the island.
There’s a setting you can change called Dino count and I wonder raising it past 1 could influence the amount of unicorns that can spawn at a time, I’ll look into it if I ever remember
Syntac, as always your patience with Arks building leaves me in awe lmfao the snap points and all their... Quirks tend to keep me from getting too ambitious with my builds lol
The more i watch this series the more i understand it would be fine for you to fold these first series servers in your cluster. That way you dont have to go through the more painful aspects of the series again and you are less likely to abandon certain creatures that are tough to tame (basically im giving a way to not have to tame a ton of shadowmanes again because screw that lol)
Heya Syntac, I have an alternative to turning up gamma that I find much more pleasant. If you attach a glowstick to your shoulder pet (keeping it on passive), then pick the pet up, you get 12-minutes of player-centered lighting that looks way nicer than light pets and doesn't break on action/damage. I dye the glowsticks Tan, but Parchment and Canteloupe look pretty good too. The main downside is that you have to redo it every 12 min, and for some reason it only works in 3rd person camera, but worth a try to deal with lighting issues I think. Love the video series, I am playing this map on your cluster server and it is great!
I only come to one name for the Amargasaurus in my mind:- Nessa! Why? Then in Dinosaur king anime the Amargasaurus was misunderstood as the loch Ness Monster so got the name from there😆
First time playing ark a couple years ago. I spawned in, first thing I saw was a pure white horse with a horn on its head. I didn't know it was rare at the time and I also didn't know how to tame an equus. Lol

I could be wrong, but I think the reason Alphas can't eat is to prevent them from healing like a normal wild carnivore would while you're fighting it. it would be so tedious to take one down if they could.
Tip for everyone including syntac Dinopithacus, arks new monkey, very complicated to tame one But once you do tame one pump some points into health and melee damage and it is much easier to tame more and you will be able to have a army in no time
Hey Syntac! when you breed and dino and hatch its egg , if u pick up the baby dino with the dino soul gun and throw it back out, it will be fully imprinted and grown up. Just a quick trick i found
That is not true. It will still be a baby with no imprinting. I've been using this mod for a long time and they always come out the same they went in, even after weeks in the ball.

Tip: Tame a Basie or Tuso and go to the upper left corner of the map. Down there is a cave with red drops that respawn immediately. You might get the saddle there, and nice loot 2. Warning! There is a ton of Jelly fish!
@@gavynoh9118 Basis aren't too bad once you take care of the manas. They're a passive tame and like mutton. Tusos are a bit trickier and I'd recommend watching a tutorial for them cause I haven't tamed one in over a year.
@@gavynoh9118 tuso you will need black pearls. You can get black pearls in the lake near the volcano. Sintac shows it in a video. You will need a high level turtle with good health. Tuso spawn near the lighthouse on Lost island map. Dive down with turtle and let tuso grab your turtle. When he does you swim up to its mouth and feed it the black pearls. Basi is easy. you will need to kill the manas around it but after that is done you just swim along side the basi and passive tame it like Ducky 237 said. You can find the basi near the light house as well. You can check out Raasclark. He shows the cave and the tuso taming. He also made a video on where to find the water dino's.

I tamed a good Unicorn on Lost Island, mainly just to have one as I didn't need one (and never used it after). That is, until today when I decided to do a walkabout around the snow mountain. Wolves found me and did me dirty.
With the dinopithicus, if you are climbing on a wall, and you do the fist stomp it will detach from the wall and fall down onto its back, it looks derpy
Only one unicorn per map is typically dependent on your version, map, settings (official or unofficial). So it's not exactly a myth! It's typically about 1-2 in official, but when it's killed or tamed it'll respawn.
You should hatch your wyvern eggs using you snow owl to heal them as they grow instead of using wyvern milk. I’ve been doing this recently and have used it for four wyverns. Also hope you get to 2M at the end of year.
If I’m correct I believe the thing with the unicorn is there’s only ‘suppose’ to be one wild unicorn at a time. Once it’s tamed or killed another should spawn shortly after.
Instead of arrows, you should be able to craft ballista bolts with the three different effects using amargasaurus horns. They could make the bolts expensive enough to balance it. Or maybe they could have it be harpoon gun ammunition
I'm a mobile player. We can only tame Unicorns with Griffin Kibble. My wooden-house-level self found a Unicorn super close to my base and built a "Unicorn pit" around it when it got stuck on a rock. I lost that world when I uninstalled the game, but I will remember showing my friends how I tripped balls from the poop of the magical horse in my Unicorn pit. Edit: On that world, I didn't get past level 45.

I haven’t watched the entire video yet so idk if he went back but those 2 horses he found while looking for the unicorn one of them was a level 174 and I just wanted to say something (I had to go to 0.25 to see the level that split second he jumped with the spy glass)

Here's the thing, as soon as you tame a unicorn, another one is able to spawn. In your case, what you said seems very likely, and they might if found a loop hole
With taming Equus in the wild, you can jump while taming them, so if there were allos or something dangerous, when the horse faces away from it you can keep hitting jump and it’ll move further away, but it is more likely to take fall damage if there uneven terrain (or you can on ps4, I’d assume you can on pc)
If you want to do another modded series I suggest doing the ark omega mod because its just like primal fear but longer, mr meola did a series on it recently if you want to check it out.
There is a mod that removes the Fog, on my server we had the fog turned off and it popped fog every 20 minutes. Soo with the mod we can use our eyes again!

the reason the game seems so dark on the "low" gamma is because the default is 2.2 but syntac is toggling between 2.0 and 4.0 gamma.
He keeps his gamma up the map its self is just very dark and he doesn't like keeping the gamma up because I doesn't look as good

the magmazor can level upp when you have him in your soul ball if you kill things and stuff
syntac you can hatch the magmasaur and then let it in a soul ball for lvls and when you have the saddle. it has much lvls
