He is a real talent. I think he was given the wrong song choice by his coach.
You must not have seen Faith's performance. When he said "I knew as soon as she opened her mouth I was done for" was very accurate for him to say. Yes he was amazing, there's no denying that, but it's a competition and Faith blew him out of the water. I recommend watching her story, it's journey 217.
A great example of an artist’s ability to affect you without any bells or whistles. His voice gives goosebumps. He’s a gifted storyteller. I also wish he’d been able to pick another coach.

I'm surprised they didn't all turn their chairs when he first started singing. His voice is incredible. He's cute with a great voice and seems like a really good person. So sad about his mom. Keith was so funny. "He's terrified now".

100% agreed! Finnian should’ve won the entire competition. As I stated on my message previously I’m starting to watch the voice less and less because there’s so many deserving Artist who sang so beautifully yet they are bypassed…. You judges really need to up your game because you’re not doing your people any justice! I hope more people feel the same.

They are all good. But for me, from the very first note, it was always Finnian. He has... that special something that grabs your heart and soul and you want more of it. He is truly special. Wishing them all the best.
Many years ago, I sat on many country music judging panels in Tamworth and at country music festivals all over Australia - Barmera, Mildura, Gympie... (no stage of course as famous as 'The Voice') listening to young kids (well, teenagers and early 20's) sing their hearts out trying to get to that next level or have someone notice them - just as I was myself 'noticed' on one of those same stages years before that - shout out to Whyalla y'all. I heard and judged and gave advice to some amazing kids... some who went on to have and are still having powerhouse careers in country and bluegrass music both in Australia and overseas. I don't ever remember a voice quite like Finnian's ever coming across one of those stages... ever! I'm sure looking forward to whatever I can hear next from this young guy. I'm living in the US now because one person believed in me. Finnian has millions already believing in him. Simply amazing!

I can't believe that he was eliminated...oh my god...he has such a great, beautiful voice...he can definitely sing ...well those judges are so dam crazy...im sure everyone loved and enjoyed watching him while he was on the show...I definitely enjoyed hearing him sing..I love his voice...he's absolutely outstanding..❤
His voice and tone is crystal clear...this kind of voice is very vulnerable but if trained and used properly it can be next level.

Someone liked my earlier comment which brought me here once again. Goosebumps all over! He’s only 19, yet he can move adults 2,3 times his age with the artistic beauty that his vocal chords possess. Imagine what he can do in 10 30 years, if given a chance to spread his wings. He said he wanted to be that guy on a stoop making people cry with his music. He made me cry with this song. I still believe he’d have gone further had he been able to pick another coach. Jess is alright but she she gets excited and emotional and doesn’t care in the moment whether she can carry a gifted artist through. Especially when this artist is so NOT her comfort zone. A true coach uses their head not emotions, to maximize benefits to their charges. Finian got stiffed.

For those asking, his mother passed away a few years ago. He mentions it right after that first performance.
Not to many singers give the chills ..but this guy .. gave me the chills through out all the song's he sung 👍
Finnian is a mix of Clint black and Toby Keith but yet deeper .BRAVO

saw him today first time. in landslide he basically commanded everything.
she was ok and not bad but pretty much trying hard to stay on her upper limit while he went relaxed, topped twoce over her in everything while not even trying hard. he will be huge. great presence, great technical skills but really he already has that routine, the confidence, the finesse and the power of an old star. really hope he gets todo his own stuff in a long career. he could be a jonny cash or even better one day
That young man gave me goose bumps with his voice. He will soon be hitting the charts, I’m sure someone has snatched him up already. I can’t wait to hear his first album. 🙏🏼♥️
I’m almost 60 years old you could say I’m old country grandpa’s country with this guy he’s going to make it he needs to find his own country his country music that seems to him within him he’s got the voice he’s got the talent now He just needs someone to believe in him and his voice his talent and he will be a rising star in the country music scene

from the moment he opens his mouth you are drawn into the story he is telling, mesmerized by that incredible voice. Only the greats have that. I hope he gets a record deal quickly. He deserves it.

My favorite performance of his was his audition. Beautiful voice together with an absolute storyteller's Mastery of a song. He may be young, but he's going a long way with that Talent.

It tears me up what the music industry does to great artists and how they see them as property. This seems like a nice young man who puts heart and soul into music.
We are missing deep male voices in music now. There used to be lots of male singing groups with a bass voice. But it fell out of fashion. I'm always bowled over by the deep bass of Ko WooRim from Forestella (check their Shape of You 😂 ). This is such a pleasure to hear a lovely tone. And yes you can hear Cowboy, but he's more than that. We need more deep male voices. 👍

I've never watched an episode of The Voice and somehow this got recommended to me. I couldn't stop watching, his voice is so amazing. I really hope he reaches his dreams and makes it big. I'll be a listener for sure!

He has definitely got a good voice. A great deal of potential that a great voice coach might be able to get out of him. But character? I'm not sure any of us can tell anything about his character from a few songs. OR were you saying that his voice has "character?"
I listened to this guy when he would be busking at Coles and Woolies in Cessnock. I was surprised that he was eliminated. He performs at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. We will be hearing this guys voice for more years to come. Great voice Phinnian.
