- Wave 4 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass is coming next week, so we booted up the old Analysis Machine to spot the BIGGEST changes to each of these tracks! Just how much have they changed from their previous appearances? Let's find out!

During your close-ups of Waluigi Stadium, I noticed what looks to be another raised anti-gravity section after the final Piranha Plant wall. I could just be seeing the same one, but we may end up having two of these!
Yea it has a boost ramp at the end of it instead of a glider but thats the only difference as far as I can tell
REALLY strong analysis. Incredible deducting skills on identifying the location of forest section of DS Mario Circuit and the antigravity section of Waluigi Statdium. That section actually looks SUPER cool if it works like described.

Bowser Jr. actually picks up the item in the Riverside Park trailer! If we are able to pick up items from the ground this is huge!!

@@WaterMeLoan64 yes! When bowser jr hit the ptooie it dropped the mushroom, but instead of getting a boost, he picked it up!
It could also be from the item box roulette finishing, but my hopes are high
@@calabemccool it was after he used a green shell so unless they made getting items longer he probably picked it up
Nah I don’t think so he wasn’t close enough to actually get it plus that’s from the item roulette
Since we had reach 32 tracks in the pack, we had reached the same amount of tracks from Mario Kart DS to Mario kart 8 (Before DLC).
And Mario Kart Wii, and Mario Kart 7. Your point?

We now know that Wave 4 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass comes out next week a day before Mario Day which is on March 10 that's when Nintendo does their final Nintendo Direct on Nintendo and Illumination's The Super Mario Bros. Movie and when they reveal the final trailer of the film before it's early April release.
I'm excited for Amsterdam Drift along with Bangkok Rush, and my wish for Singapore Speedway to be added in Wave 4 has finally come true.
I can't wait to play as returning character Birdo, who first appeared in Mario Kart Double Dash on the Nintendo Gamecube.
With only two more waves left, I do hope Paratroopa also from Mario Kart Double Dash gets added as our next returning character in Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass later this year.
But all in all, I'm excited for Wave 4 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass coming out next week along with the final Nintendo Direct next week, which will reveal the final trailer of Nintendo and Illumination's The Super Mario Bros. Movie before its release in early April.
@@scmtuk3662What it’s means is that with the release of the Wave 4 tracks Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will now have a total of 96 tracks which is the amount of tracks total if you combine the amount of tracks Mario Kart DS, Wii, and 7 had.

No because Wiggler only appeared as a boss in GCN's Mushroom Bridge NOT DS's Mario Circuit.

The DS Circuit theme is an absolute gem.
I only wish Waluigi Stadium had the dancing signs and still took place during dusk. They were honestly my favorite details of the track.
some Double Dash elements were animated like a toon of the golden age and I still love it

I see an obvious one you missed in Waluigi Stadium. The dirt track has some sections that are wet and muddy, which wasn’t there in the two original versions
Because the dirt is made out of Waluigi Poop.

After all these year's they finally made the Mario statue a DK one in DK Summit!!!!!!!!!! That always bothered me ever since I was a kid playing the track for the first time! I can't believe it took them 15 YEARS to realize it's "DK Summit" and not "Mario Summit" (yes I know it's probably less because of Tour but idk when it was added to that game)

DK Summit got added to Tour in 2021 (2 years ago) on the Snow Tour
Unexpectedly we got Bangkok rush instead of Los Angeles laps because very recently we got Bangkok rush 2 and 3 and Singapore speedway 2 and 3 I’m still hoping to see Los Angeles laps in wave 5 or 6

@@BopSteady yeh, people speculating the missing city tracks could be Athens and Madrid, and there’s two other original tracks, a bathroom track, and what seems to be a Donkey Kong course
I kinda like Bangkok Rush more than Los Angles Laps because it bought back the Inky Piranha Plant, but I understand why people would want that back too.

You missed the absence of the missing dance signs in Waluigi Stadium. That was like my favorite part of the course in Wii!
the previews in the websites mention "going inside the castle" in Mario Circuit. Idk if it's a mistake or if they are implementing the idea of Mario Circuit from the 3ds in the ds version.
Maybe it's a change in the final lap like what they did for Peach Gardens. Nobody knew about the last lap changing until the wave actually came out. What if in Mario Circuit the first two laps are as normal and in the last one you can enter the castle?
@@alecamp5369 could it be? From the screenshot the castle seems pretty blocked off, the entrance is even separated from the road by off-road
They also mention "blossoming trees" like in 3DS Mario Circuit. Whoever handled the press release messed up big time
@@PikaPhantomVG oh yeah, that and the inside of Peach’s Castle thing are only a 3DS Mario Circuit thing, and also curious they mention cherry blossoms, but not the pine tree forest with the giant Wiggler xd

As much as I like the Ds mario circuit I just wish we had a better ds course added, since this is the last ds course they're gonna add. I would've loved either delfino square, airship fortress or dk pass

@@Duhh745 I'd love that but the consoles for the next courses have been leaked, there's like 4 wii courses a few tour tracks and gba but no ds. Just hope the leak is either fake or a coincidence

You left out another BIG CHANGE in wave 4's Riverside Park track in regarding the Ptooie Plants in which makes their official 3D appearance excluding the recent Paper Mario titles since they are flat 2d look.
I hope this will be the last of tour involvement with the waves. I’m ready for more nostalgia courses, hopefully wario stadium and Daisy circuit, also gcn rainbow road

I saw an old GameXplain video from 2014 about how Wario Colosseum could’ve been included in Mario Kart 8. I wish it was true tho.
DS Mario Circuit is just mid :/ i wish we got Delphino Square Or Airship Fortress Since DS was the last track in the booster course pass i guess we have to wait to Mario Kart X to get a glow up or maybe delphino will come to Tour idk?
One major change you missed- in the conveyor belt section in Singapore Speedway, the jumps are no longer there. For the best, as they would be jank.
For some reason my mind was fuzzy with the Mario Circuit. I had a hard time remembering if the track looked like that. I've had Kart DS a long time ago.
waluigi stadium being set at night looks cool but is also kinda cursed
its not in this trailers but rather a deduction from the lattes tour on mobile where DS mario circuit is also coming next week
and in there have been added piranhaplants that spit fireballs
so its very likely that obstacle will be on the MK8 as well
so hooray i guess... anything that makes those basic circuit tracks more challenging is welcome addition in my book

The blimp in Singapore Speedway used to have the Mario Kart Tour logo but now on MK8 it only says Mario Kart :(

Fun fact: the train in Amsterdam (in general the Netherlands) is ment to be Blue and Yellow
I think the train is based on the Sprinter model, not the older, yellow model.

@@imaginationsquare I haven't taken a train in a while, so my memory's a little inaccurate. Google Image searching shows these Sprinters still use yellow in their design, but very little of it; they're mostly white and dark blue.
Also, taking a closer look at the screenshot, it looks like a double decker. They likely combined several models into a single design. Thinking about it, NS might have trademarked the iconic shade of yellow, which could be why Nintendo replaced it with red.
We still have yellow double deckers here and I see them regularly across the railroad crossing down the street. They stop at every station while Sprinters skip stations to get to key destinations faster, like Amsterdam.
I really don't like what they did to Waluigi Stadium. The sunset is gone, the Vibin' Signs are gone, the walls of the stadium don't have faces, there's less Wooden Piranha Plants and the crowd probably won't cheer and groan when you perform tricks and get hit.

Not necessarily, we will most likely get 3 for each 5 and 6 so that Nintendo can add another entire row to the character select screen

@@Gennings I don't know if it will be another full row. I read somewhere that it was leaked months back (before new characters were announced) that Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach, Metal/Gold Mario, and Pink Gold Peach were being sorted behind Mario and Peach as alternate costumes for the Wave 4 update, leaving 4 new characters slots open. So, most likely just 4 new ones. With Wave 5 containing another new character, and Wave 6 containing 2 new characters to finish it off.
Fun fact: my birthday is on Mario day

Well London Loop was kind of boring imo, but when all the variants got combined, I've mostly seen positive comments about it!

I’m a bit disappointed to see so many Tour tracks in one wave, but I understand Nintendo wanting to advertise their latest game. Still, though… I’m curious about DS Mario Circuit because that’s one of my more forgettable tracks from that game, personally, so I want to see if they’ve done enough to spice it up.
@@BopSteady basically it's a lazy way to sell NSO with low effort and it works
