I did mine with 4 tauforged strength shards. Means I meet the 200% without needing blind rage or molt augmented. While I don’t have as much duration, it is serviceable and my efficiency makes up for it.
Xaku is genuinly one of my favorite frames and like Sabuuchi said, he's better at AFK Gaming than Wukong, I feel like people skip on him because of Seriglass Pain
your xaku build is really close to mine! I main him On my build I use Zenurik to give me a free ability cast every 60s. because my 4 lasts 62s I can loop it forever. even if i have 0 energy. (213 duration with molt efficiency) mods I swapped from your build: Corrosive projection is equal to 18% armor strip, or lets you use 164 STR instead of 200 to strip. I use Vampiric grasp for crazy healing I replaced rolling guard with constitution. I also have a free arcane slot, so i put Arcane blessing to give me almost 2000 health Thanks for mentioning the reactant thing. with this build you can hold onto those buffed turrets for over a hour. (turret duration decay can be lessened with casting speed, but its not needed) I jump off the map and refresh them with new ones once I get the buff. (i use only 1 weapon in relic missions, that buff chance is split between equiped weapons so bringing just 1 gives you a 50% chance of the buff my subsume is mind control (MC). you can cast this on gaze targets to move them, they will teleport to you! this is useful to hide the body where nullifiers and teammates wont mess with them. also good for getting optimized gaze placement. you can MC to lasso an enemy and teleport it to you for better strip aoe placement. this is good because your turrets kill everything, this lets you grab a guy outside turret range...you can also hack acolytes and eximus to help you. additionally I use the huras kubarow for stealth. it doent expire because the turrets are not gunfire. thaks for you vid, and sorry if this was long. xaku is 30% of my playtime lol, i love him
I appreciate every ounce you squeeze out of the builds. I have a “me” problem and that is I dislike the idea of using grimoire to boost stats. I realize I can only shoot one gun at a time, and truthfully this build does all the heavy lifting. If I’m being real, it primarily because I zero forma in grimoire and I don’t have all the mods for grimoire (and I absolutely loathe the “tunnel defense” mode). Maybe when Xaxu gets a prime I’ll have everything I need by then to invest in a build this in depth. Again great job mathing the daylights out of this build. The only thing, I think that needs to be addressed is, the re-cast-ability of the moves for shield gating. Like I know you cannot recast the 2 until duration runs out, I’m assuming to the roller ball can be recast regardless of timer as that is how it operates on Octavia, I also believe 4 can be recast before timer runs out…but I feel like it’s a cast to deactivate and a cast to re-activate. Sorry for the rambling, definitely enjoy the build.
I appreciate it, and yes roller is recastable, 4th is also recastable and no you don't have to decast first. You don't want to spam cast 4th though because every cast slightly lowers the time left on paused abilities. Also, even without using the grimoire at all this build still destroys, so just play without it
@@Unified-Codex You could also use Shade as a Sentinel to turn xaku invisible which is also a viable method for surviving. As long as you don‘t shoot with your guns. Ability damage and Grasp of Lohk guns will be able to shoot without turning yourself visible again.
I think viral on verglas works as well. Youre mainly killing with your 2's guns and companion clones so having tenet glaxion be the only thing proccing cold to activate it would be fine. Then your verglas can build for heat viral radiation for example
For a personal general build that I use, I took out his 3rd ability for Pillage just because Pillage is more versatile in terms of me being about to move about and not be stuck in a lockdown zone. Sure I can't full 1 strip but in this new meta, full stripping is kinda meh on some builds and I do use Torid on him so his extra guns are more of a support than means to kill stuff.
it's refreshing for other to show love to xaku. ever since xaku came out i always find xaku's kit very unique. i even have a build that I created myself that allows me to do conjunction survival for 30 minute.
Build would still be good, another good helminth option would be condemn. Augment bad for survivability as it just heals health, you shouldn’t be taking health damage on this build and if you do you are likely dead

Just reduce the range of the build, presumably hitting enemies too far away outside of the circle is the issue, making him not the best frame overall for that content.
@Unified-Codex reducing range hurts him really badly. If memory serves +1 gun is like +100% of your ability strength. Though you can do some weird stuff if you subsume over his guns.
It would be better to have 99% armor strip if you are going to run corrosive on your guns for the bonus. If you are going to run 100% armor strip wouldn't it be better to run viral or viral heat?
That is no longer how damage works since the Jade update. Now that damage modifiers are faction based, Grineer and Kuva Grineer take 1.5x damage from corrosive whether they have armor or not.

I get that its effective in endurance but man i hate needing most of molt augmented to get the ball rolling. Heres to hoping Xaku prime gets an energy buff foremost since thats the only annoying stat on em. I run an energy max shard but no primed flow personally
You can use 4 Tau reds to make up for the 60% Augmented gives you. It frees up an arcane slot for something like Avenger for flat crit chance on your own weapons or whatever arcane floats your boat and goes well with your build/weapons
I have never been able to weigh in between corrosive projection and 200 strength priorities. Why not slap in shade or the kubrow and perma invis and spam your ability.
Cant wait for the prime switch up where they release yareli to keep the girl girl boy boy release beats for primes and stuff xaku in between yareli and lavos/sevagoth
I find mele kinda useless on xaku ranged mele are too slow and close range meles are going to have a hard time making contact with enemies before his guns take the kill xD so i use a movement utility mele. There is also an archane that gives him an immunity to the one thing i find ends runs with him(toxin) I also find the pausing of the duration makes duration less important its neat in relic missions but outside of it im activly attempting to lose my old guns to take advantage of my molt augmented stacks
I'd like to add that you shouldn't try negative duration it's just outside of trying to maximize the corruption buff you don't need more than 1 or 2 mods worth
Don’t use arcane that rely on you dealing damage to proc them, your floating guns will end up out killing you at a certain point and your gun basically becomes a fashion item

I literally can not play this game without parkour veloctiy on my frames, how do you ever go about fitting parkour velocity onto your builds?? I usually sacrifice a arcane for it if i cant sacrifice shards
I usually run 1 Tau yellow + Praedos giving +52.5% Parkour velocity and an additional +20% sprint speed. Its a combo I cant live without ever since I started using it
Use incarnons as movement stat sticks. That's what I do on all frames except ones where I REALLY need the velocity for speed runs. Otherwise I find it to be a waste of a slot for other content.

You can get an average of 3 tau shards per week. Just put together a good netracell build. Then you get guaranteed normal shards from the archon hunt and bird 3. EDA is the best but you need to have a high percentage of frames and weapons maxed out to reliably do it

Aside from archon stretch like someone else already mentioned and you acknowledged, you don't need mystic bond on diriga at all because you don't have anything that is considered an ability on it. Arc coil doesn't benefit from manifold bond at all because 1. it doesn't have a cool down it just has a animation duration of 1-2 seconds, and 2. it is not considered an ability. So arc coild does not benefit from manifold bond, and mystic bond does not benefit from arc coil. You could befite from both mods if you had Guardian on but with all the shield gating you have going on i doubt you'd frequently use mystic bond's effect. Swap mystic bond out with tenacious bond or something else like guardian.
- Manifold Bond absolutely works, and fantastically so, as seen by the enemies instantly receiving every modded status from its application - You can also see Mystic Bond working in the video, because Arc Coil is in fact an ability - Tenacious Bond requires 50% crit chance to function and I am using a verglas, so replacing an amazing bond mod with one that would effectively be an empty mod spot does not sound ideal

And the tenacious bond comment I made was a suggestion for a replacement for mystic bond but obviously only if you swap the weapon as well to something that can hit the 50% crit requirement. Guardian is still my recommendation as a replacement for assault mode or anything else since the duplex bond clones attack even without assault mode.

I'm already done fee builds using video on UA-cam, done absolutely same, but never get even a 50% of those effects, as I saw in videos. And more - I don't understand how to survive with such extremely low health and armor. Just one random shot, one random bullet, one eximus wave splash - and you are dead. How did you never damaged? Unbelievable.
Well... It still matters if you are an endurance runner, I guess. If you play Disruption, Void Cascade, or Circuit regularly, then armor strip is still extremely good since enemies have absurd amounts of HP after the 500s to a 1000s levels.😅 Which don't take that long on those missions I mentioned.
Full armor strip still has its place. It's just with the armor change that one Tau green for 98% armor strip is also viable. But for abilities if you can get full strip easily, like this, then why not go for it. Imho.
@@abysswalker7712 To be fair, he is right considering the context of the video. If I didn't use the power str shard it would still be a 99.5% armor strip which even at level 10,000 would not matter since that means they would only have ~14 armor. That's less than a 5% EHP increase

I personally use 2 builds, 1 with tharrow strike for disruption and 1 with dispensary for survival and endurance

If you want more survivability use secundary Fortifier on your grimoire
You could also run overextended not max level 1 or 2 ranks away from max and not need the red tau

Can you perhaps “over-forma” other slots to compensate for putting a mod in the wrong polarity allowing you to keep umbral if need be?

Full armor strip still has its place. It's just with the armor change that one Tau green for 98% armor strip is also viable. But for abilities if you can get full strip easily, like this, then why not go for it. Imho.
@@abysswalker7712 To be fair, he is right considering the context of the video. If I didn't use the power str shard it would still be a 99.5% armor strip which even at level 10,000 would not matter since that means they would only have ~14 armor. That's less than a 5% EHP increase
