Misa does use a pick, AND fingerpicking, AND occasionally even strumming, whatever the song needs. She often switches between fingerpicking and pick multiple times in the same song and does it seamlessly.

Reactions bring joy to the fans, and also serve as an advertisement. I see that people are asking here how can they get the original. And the answer is, of course, "Buy the disk." I've seen at least three people asking this question. And probably a hundred more already know the answer, and they just went and pressed that "Order" button...

On my Blu Ray, I watched all 5 version of all 3 songs back-to-back and loved every second of it. :)
Should be 4 songs on there...they're awesome. Do you have the Blu-ray from Conqueror too...the 3 tracks including the mighty 'Onset'? I got totally addicted to the instrumentals...then missed Saiki. Easily remedied with a dose of Puzzle acoustic version :-)

Now I’m even more frustrated that “without holding back” is not included on the CD of the limited edition instead of “Manners” x2 😩
It's annoying...but we do get the track 'Youth'...not on the regular version. I expected one of the 'Manners' tracks to be a different arrangement...shoulda kept 'without holding back'
@@philproffitt8363 That’s exactly what I thought. I was thinking that the arrangement or maybe the lyrics were different. Something like Guns N’Roses did with “Don’t Cry” on Use Your Illusions albums.
For me, “Manners” kills a little bit the flow of the Progress CD. It fits better with Roots

The DVD is like having your own, private concert with the girls.....sans Saiki. Really enjoying it. "Without holding back" blew me away, had never heard it before. Miku is really becoming an outstanding rhythm guitarist, there are some complicated changes most of the songs. and there's nothing really to say about Misa, Akane and Kanami except "simply amazing".
Each member raises the bar for the next in a musical tour de force!!!!

I’ve actually started following a lot of drummers recently and I’m seriously considering if I should just replace my gym time with a drum class. It looks like a great workout for both the upper and lower body plus you’re also learning to play an instrument at the same time.
If I’m gonna swing my arms and legs around anyway why not make great music at the same time?
A few weeks back while I was working out as usual with some instrumental playing in the background, it suddenly dawned on me that the drummer was going more intense with the blast speeds in a few minutes than my entire hour long sessions. It honestly made me realise how dumb I’ve been my whole life and why the one on the screen is an artist living their dreams while the me watching is an insignificant unknown fan.
Like fk! no wonder they look like superheroes when they’re still in my same age group.
I recall trying the guitar in my teens and scking at it 🤣 But I want to give drumming a serious attempt even if just for 2 years. At the least it’d be a great workout.
I got notification mine was being delivered by end of day but screw it I don’t wanna wait any longer I’ll watch it along here :)

Does anyone know a place to find this song on UA-cam or in MP3? I've already purchased the album twice, (Limited Edition version and Digital version), but neither have this song on CD. The Limited Edition has this video on the Blu Ray, but I don't have any way to covert that to an MP3.
You've got to buy the album for the third time. As far as I know, only the regular edition CD has this track on it.
@@nipponia_nippon_ I found a download on some sketchy file sharing site. I do not normally condone piracy, but I've already spent around $120 buying the album twice, so I'm not going to feel bad for Pony Canyon this time.

Only the regular CD has this (Type C). The others (Type A and B) has it on the video only. They give you the videos so they didn't include the music on the CD. Instead you get another music that is not on the regular CD type C.

It should be understood that illegal uploading of such paid content is damaging the profits of BAND-MAID.
That's not true.Those who are Band Maid fans will still buy their cd's or dvd's. And those who aren't get the opportunity to be inspired to get them to do so. A band makes more "profits" through exposure. And youtube or whoever trying to hinder that exposure is hurting the music industry.It's not all about making money. Even though that's what it's become. We don't get more bands like Band Maid by making it about money. They love music and enjoy giving their gift to others. And they don't love money more than they love each other. Those who try to hinder that exposure are the leeches who seek to control music, make money off of it, and the main reason why there haven't been more bands like them. They've made it into a business like they do everything else. But music is not a business!
@@knybee I agree. The over protective of music playing of Japan's music organization policy actually IMO hurt the chance of great music to get exposed more than anything else. I already have the Bluer ray but still love it that people see this and might have some of them excited to become fan and buy them maybe. It is almost a sin to keep this hide this gem from public :-)
I disagree 100%, also. I have bought 5 or 6 BAND-MAID shirts, 4 CDs / mp3 and this will be my 2nd livestream and I would have never EVER even known about BAND-MAID if it weren't for someone uploading a video ( Play ) a few years ago. And another thing, I will surely buy more BAND-MAID merchandise in the future. Without that upload, I would have never discovered MY FAVORITE BAND.
Few bands count on money from album/song sales. Their income really comes from concerts and merchandising. So buy T-Shirts!

@@takeshiwatari6117 Yes, they are different songs. "without holding back" was first played on January 12, 2019, at STUDIO COAST, Tokyo. Last time it was played live in Nagoya Diamond Hall on January 10, 2020 - and I've been there and seen it with my own eyes!
"Want more" was shared by Kanami through Dropbox on "Maid Day," as you correctly point out. It is only a short demo. But I've listened to it probably a hundred times! 🤘
