You are great! Kenny is great! If ya'll could get together, ya'll could repair all of the dirt track issues and make them RIGHT! A friday night night football game is wonderful but, a saturday night car race is extravagant! Support your local track!
Hey Justin I think you hit it right on the head with the Brandon Overton experiment this weekend and as a big fan of his I was sick 🤢 to my stomach. And WTF did he even bother to run the whole Lucas Season for if they/he was going to give it all away at the end. I don’t know what he/they were thinking?????
Always feels like there’s some sort of craziness at this time of the year, whether it’s good or bad, it’s crazy. Great show! By the way, I like LM championships too.
Hi brother, I love your show I love listening to your videos and what you say about the love of our sport and the insight you bring to us weekly bro you doing a phenomenal job man much love Cody
I saw someone mention Mitchell Faccinto cracked a vertebrae at Hanford and will be out for a while, possibly done altogether? Would be a shame but he has had a pretty rough run lately. Became a bit of a fan when he ran up here in Oregon a few years ago for a speedweek and ran strong against guys like Sanders, Bergman, Copeland, Cox, Borden and so on and seemed like a pretty humble, friendly guy. I thought the Tarlton opportunity would be a good one for him but he didn't seem to get much done in that seat for whatever reason. Even if he doesn't want to get back in a car, hope he heals up well.
Points championships that involve a playoff series = me not caring about, them -- any level, any type of car. Points championships are designed to include the full season. The BC39 is phenomenal. The feature this year was one of the best races I have seen in a long time.
The early WoO years had the big 3, Kinser, Wolfgang, Swindell. HL will have the little 3, Larson, Sweet, Abreu. 1st year of NST Schatz won the WoO championship. People said it was because the competition level was reduced. But he dominated for years after that "fluke" championship.
I know Brandon personally and there is not a more dedicated driver in the country. All this guy has ever wanted to do is drive late models for a living. And he is doing exactly that. I remember him being 15 years old working on his crate car right by himself in Augusta Ga. It was before the 10k to win FASTRAK race at Modoc. I asked him why he wasn't in school and I'll never forget his answer. He replied" Me Lester I'm going to race dirt late models for a living and they don't teach that at the high school i go to. " Big talk for a 15 year old ! And has proven every word to be TRUE!
Your not the only one sir I do as well care about championships. Matter of fact I wore your your shirt to husets and knoxville and people greeted me "yes they do"
Was pulling for Pittman also but happy Marks got the win. Marks won over 130k+ in the month of September just in the state of P.A. I wouldn't leave the porch either if I ran in P.A.
I can’t stand him ever since the Kramer family at Lincoln awarded him a check for getting the 19th place finish iirc, anyway it’s a family tribute race for a guy that died in a wreck and cause brent marks lost he sounded so ungrateful towards the family handing him the check.
I agree the Team Zero car was odd timing, but it seems to me Overton only ran the series for a shot to win the DTWC and the $300k total. Seems to me he thought he didn’t have a shot at that with his current program. He had the 4 spot well in hand before having the fan and power steering pump knocked off. Ultimately bad luck cost him the chance.
I was so excited when Flo got MAVTV. Love Lucas Oil Late Models. Sorry you know what I think of Pittman. So glad Marks won the Open. He deserved it. He was amazing last night
I Wonder Why He Went To Team Zero Honestly Makes No Since. As You Said He Has Had 9 Straight Top Tens It Just Seem They Thought They Could Get Something To Work But Just Couldn't .
Electrical issues can pop up out of nowhere with no prior warning at anytime (believe or not the chassis brand has nothing to do with it). I give Brandon a lot of credit for having the balls to make a decision like this. He's been struggling, top 10 finishes don't mean shit to him. He was obviously looking towards Eldora with the Bloomer car after seeing only 3 zero cars there and all nearly finished in the top 5. He just wanted to get laps in the car before then. It didn't work out, it's easy to be a Monday morning quarterback and say it was a dumb decision. He could of unloaded the Longhorn and had the same issues, it just wasn't meant to be this weekend.
@@DIRTRACKR You should have told Brandon this before the weekend. Come to think to of it, what Brandon needs to have you take over management of the team. You're clearly more capable of making better decisions than him.
The thing you need to know about Overton is he rather run an open schedule rather then be tied to running a tour. He never wanted to run the full LODLMS tour this year
Brandon should come to Swainsboro for the HTF season ending races. Ricky Thornton Jr. won the innaugual race maybe he can come see if he can win the finale. $28,000 total to win both nights!
I’m confused to why the zero car breaking was worse than the longhorn car breaking? Both night were a part failure issue not a speed issue.. a decent video would have been about how the show me and the 99 destroying the 76 turned out to be a big deal….
Overton and a snort chassis are like oil and water. Brandon likes running the high side alot and snorts stuff slides around the bottom. Don't see him in a snort chassis, might be wrong?
McDowell, Shirley and Fergy finished 3, 4, and 7 at the World 100 in Team Zero cars. Shirley typically runs a Rocket but ran one of Fergy’s Team Zero chassis.
I don't see Gravel being able to win a championship this year. If Sweet moves over to the High Limit series full time next year and Gravel somehow wins the Outlaw championship it wouldn't be the same. After all, with one of the best Outlaw drivers out of the way it just doesn't seem like Gravel would be the best. Does Carson Macedo have a mathematical chance of winning the championship this year? It would be a steep up hill battle to do it.
Hanford was a disgrace have they ever heard of something called water, we do not have a drought out here anymore someone should tell them, Drive 3 1/2 hours to get there just to be sent back home, another 3 1/2 hour drive.

Def shocking for Branden, but happy for Moran! And you’re not the only one who cares about the Lucas oil championship my friend! 💯🤙🏼
The BC39 was wild watched the highlights and how T-Mez didn't flip was crazy and still finished 5th great race
Great show, good info
BC 39 was by far the best race I've seen this year! Must see every year!
Always feels like there’s some sort of craziness at this time of the year, whether it’s good or bad, it’s crazy. Great show! By the way, I like LM championships too.
That BC 39 feature was awesome!!!! I feel for T Mez, but what a show they put on!
Hi brother, I love your show I love listening to your videos and what you say about the love of our sport and the insight you bring to us weekly bro you doing a phenomenal job man much love Cody
I read that the Bloomquist Car that Overton had was a old one from Ahnna Parkhurst whose Dad sponsors Dale McDowell!
Can’t wait for the dome!!!!!
At Hanford Water pump went out no water for track

Off topic but this deserves a shout out: Kris Jackson notched his 43rd and 44th victory over the weekend in a B Mod. 44 wins out of 62 events.
Dirt Late Model Championships matter! Its true and a great T Shirt. I wear it to every race I go to and it always gets comments 😁

Sure seems like with a few weeks before the DTWC, there would be other opportunities to knock the dust off a Zero that wouldn't risk your chase spot.

Off topic question:
Which form of media helps you earn more; video or podcast? I use both, but I'm willing to use the one that helps you out more.
Video is the revenue driver, but do what works for you. It's why I do both. Make it easier to tune in depending on where you are or what you're doing.
This is dirt racing not nascar
Chases, playoffs ect have no place in motorsports.
Seeing how things have went for Overton this year I’d be surprised if he is in the Wells car in 2024. No inside info, just a guess.
Wonder why he was in Grants car when Grant wasnt even there? He was at Talladega.

I love the super late models I hope Hudson wins the championship 🏆 but it should be a great race
That will be the last time you see Overton run a tour , he's just not one to do it. He doesn't seem very interested in it.
Pretty good BC39 race up front except Tmez doing hypocritical Tmez things
Is anyone still competitive with a Team Zero car?
Dale McDowell and Chris Ferguson
McDowell has won a few big races this year and last year
Not to get of the subject but can anyone tell me how these young guns are out running the veterans?
Overton acts like he's just over it.
Great call out!
Overton shot himself in the foot...imo2
SLM live on flo Georgetown DE 12k to win. 530 hot laps
Terrible mistake by Wells and Brandon. Cost them a lot of money.
How else runs a zero, anyone in top 10? Just wondering
Dale McDowell I believe is still in one. Shannon Babb was too, but I think he just switched to a Longhorn in the past year or so.

The water pump at the fairgrounds went out Thursday night. Fair board didn't fix it. Not the track's fault.
