SunScript™ Reverse Transcriptase is a reverse transcriptase that has been engineered for high thermostability and absence of RNaseH activity . It has RNA and DNA-dependent polymerase activity. The enzyme is active up to temperatures of 85°C. The elimination of RNaseH activity provides this enzyme with the best performance to allow high yields of full length cDNA synthesis on long RNA molecules with complex secondary structures. SunScript™ can completely synthesise cDNA of up to 11 Kb in length in only 5 minutes.
