Too bad they could not afford better lighting in Australia, 1992. Yes, this episode begins at night, but there is night and then there is impossible to see due to poor lighting night
@@stuartmidgley1 It's not the DVD transfer, but the transfer from DVD to online. 99% of broadcast video is mangled when it gets online. A world of amateurs have replaced a small set of broadcast engineers, but that's fine, more chances to remaster it properly while we're still alive. I'll give this a go - it certainly deserves it.
Anyone who does Searches, be they Police or Volunteer, has that one Search for a Child which stays with you Forever. Particularly when the Child is never found. I myself have a couple.
Very good series, shame it was never shown on British television.
This was a great show, back when the ABC was worth watching.
Agreed, the ABC had some great shows as they were more impartial and unbiased back then, but sadly the ABC has gone too lefty/SJW.
What was the year???

i do not know why they made the picture so dark.
The series was first shot on video tape, converted to film, then transferred back to video, resulting in a dark, gritty look.
The year I moved to America
The DVD transfer is to blame - the original broadcast was dark but much clearer that this.
