This is my review of the AMI Paris 100% wool turtle neck sweater.
AMI PARIS SIZING:
For reference, I am 5'11 and 195lbs.
I purchased the AMI Paris Sweater in a Medium and it fits me perfect however its oversized by design.
I typically wear L or XL.
AMI PARIS WOOL QUALITY:
The AMI Paris sweater is heavy, warm, and well put together. It's a nice soft feel. The wool was a bit itchy at first, but wore down after a few hours and I don't find it itchy anymore. However I have noticed some pilling in certain areas like the underarms which at this price point surprised me.
AMI PARIS WARMTH:
The AMI Paris sweater is very warm. Especially with the elongated sleeves and turtle neck version, its perfect for fall/winter and a great layering piece to keep you warm. With just a T-Shirt underneath, it can be easily worn indoors as well but you will be toasty.
AMI PARIS CONSTRUCTION:
You can immediately tell AMI Paris Sweater is a very well built sweater. Its thick, the knitting is symmetrical, there's no discrepencies throughout, and it feels amazing. No issues with the quality of the AMI sweater.
IS AMI PARIS WORTH THE $:
Its expensive, and I have noticed pilling in areas that are rubbing on each other often (under the armpits and sleeves which surprised me). I think if you can get the sweater at a discounted price around $400 or less and you have the money to spend and love the aesthetic of the brand, yes, it is.
