I've been watching your videos for years. Sense I was in highschool over 5 years ago. And I want to take the time and thank you for your content and for having the attitude you do. And I thank you to because you've helped me in hard times. Hope things are well for you.
I actually know how the windows work (or at least I’m 99.9% certain I do), and it’s not reflection captures at all. Rather, they’re parallax displaced. Think how the background in Mario moves at a different speed to the foreground, except instead of like 3 or 4 layers, there are 256. Then I’m guessing they use masks to add in furniture and characters which doesn’t conform to the parallax. It’s all just photos and videos running with a depth mask over the top to convince the game that it’s a 3D tessellation shader.
@@theminecraft4202 I’m a bit late to reply, but I think so yes. Raster shadows can be quite easily baked into a simple masking layer, and then they just force that mask to conform to the depth mask. Add some extra masks in for the shadows inside the rooms, and boom - you’ve got real-time shadows inside an image! It’s super impressive stuff which probably took a few shader artists a very long time to pull off, but on a base level it’s incredibly simple. A great example of experts making the best of basic concepts in creative ways!
"The level of detail in this game is incredible!" ... and yet they didn't include police chasing criminals in car chases, or really, anywhere around the city. A conscious choice, and a strange one...
Seconding that, you can customize everything from combat difficulty (in three forms between enemy health, damage, and stealth awareness), visual aid options, slow the game speed down, auto complete quick time, etc. If you have a specific accessibility concern I can check the settings and let you know what the game offers!
Damn, I really wanted a complete series of this
Same. Its honestly kinda disappointing
Phatography is a lot more fun to watch imo. I'd rather play it myself. Kinda why I don't watch let's plays anymore.
@@MrMaster7112765 I get Dan's perspective he hasn't been 100% health wise so I'm happy when he posts whatever

yep! that's also the reason spidey can cast shadows into the rooms

Man, I love how you can hold on the web and do a loop.
It’s a shame you didn’t do a complete series on this game
I was worried Dan didn’t even play this game and/or for some reason didn’t want to, glad to see he has played it and 100% it
I saw this stream live and loved it. I can't wait to see which photo Rebecca picks for the print
The Legends are back!
Can someone tell me how good the accessibility are for this?
Extremely good, there are so many options for accessibility
@@ashtonwaters1998 thanks for letting me know!

@@dylanh8163 I appreciate this! If it does what the Miles Morales game does with the visual aids ill be okay with it!
the noir dotted styled is called rasterized imo.
