Excellent tutorial thanks. Being new to Iclone, this will help me no end as it's the area I'm having most problems with and any walking I'm doing, tends to be with the camera above shin height, to avoid revealing my bad footwork :) But one thing I have absolutely no idea about is, how to come out of a walk....how to stop my character from stopping abruptly, how to slow the pace of a walk and come to a smooth stop. I wonder if you could possibly explain this in a future tutorial. Thanks for uploading this.
I'm probably mistaken, but I'm using Actorcore and iClone 8, and I don't see any standard turns. I know you created one from another anim here, but I would assume Actorcore would have a myriad variations of these, but I'm not seeing it in the stock library in iC8 or AC. I found a 'Stage Walk 01' in Actorcore...which I can splice...and it's literally one of the more expensive anims for no reason...I think it's clear what's going on here.
My character will only take one step instead of continuing to walk. I used the same character too. What is happening to the character for the character not to continue the move.
thanks a lot, am compoining 2 clips each one has a different walking direction from Mixamo, when am turning the character , it turns but he is walking side way as he still taking the direction of the walk path ?? how can I turn the entire character with the path direction please ?
Surely there must be a better way of doing this. I have a dance animation with multiple clips and its awful getting everything to merge and seamlessly fit together. Fixing this problem would set iclone in front of all other software competitors for manual animation.
