- After 1 week of rest and relaxation in Angeles City, Pampanga i venture into new grounds, Barrio Barretto Subic Bay.
I travel by Bus from Dau Bus Terminal in Angeles City Pampanga to Olongopo Bus Terminal, in Olongopo I meet with a very interesting man who offer me a taxi to my hotel in Barrio Barretto, Subic Bay. I can confirm this man was not joking and is a very high ranking Police Officer nearing retirement. I have seen his Facebook page and he is a very powerful man in his circles. Never judge a book by it's cover.
After settling in to my hotel i explore the nightlife of Barrio Barretta Subic Bay.

Miss Subic back in the day. Olongapo to Subic City was 10x what Angeles is today. Those days are gone, but lots of fun to still be had in the quiet, relaxed Barrio. Thanks for the vids, have watched them all and been waiting for these.

So changed since I was there in 84'. The first time I went to Barrio in 75' it was a gravel road. They didn't start concrete until the early 80's and then it was still only one lane each way. I miss the Sugar Shack.

I used to go to the barrio back in the early 80’s when I was in the Navy. More quiet but just as much fun as olongapo
Yup I know what u mean when u say spoiled in Thailand! I always compare countries to Thsiland for entertainment etc..
but I think in Philippines you could find a more quity type of girl away from the night scene

I had a friend who came to Subic from Angeles after Clark closed bc the volcano. Her name was Jinky. We knew each other for 1 month. Then my boat left Subic, the base closed down and I went home to USA a few months later and was out of the Navy. I was on the last boat to leave Subic. Jinky I think of you often. She was very poor. Her family had to eat her dog before she was older

Hi 1990, I prefer Thailand as a place to live. Everyone is different. I know people that prefer the Philipines so it's a personal choice. Best to try both and see what suits you best, Regards DF

At first he was so scared bcs he was thinking i might gonna rob him to sell his organs (which i laughed at that.) I convinced him to meet me and make sure he will go back to germany with complete organs.. He even asked me to pay my transportation but i refused bcs i have my own money which he likes me more bcs i didn't take advantage of him as a foreigner..

Dead Farang can you rent motorcycle with a car license, or do you need a motorcycle license for that? Because in my country you can drive motorcycle up to 125cc with a car license. You just need to know how to ride with an American i.d. make sure you take pictures of your scooter before you take it then send them to an email dated. But I've never had a problem except that one of the bikes wasn't properly registered
