hey, so yes, invest in the dust collector, just like the drill itself, it'll become invaluable.
also acetone is exponentially worse for nails than using a drill to file off colour. acetone is a v volatile organic solvent. we use it in organic chemistry to purify compounds because its so caustic and volatile.
one has infinite amount of ctrl w an e-file than one does soaking in acetone. the chemical damage to the nail bed is microscopic, and while it won't have a long-term effect, per se tho no one's really checked, the microscopic reaction of acetone on your nail bed should leave it traumatized.
acrylic and gel nail products are innert after curing. there's no inherent goodness to having long natural nails, if you cannot grow them. the cosmetic industry tries to make it as if we're not genetically dependent. the proportions of your features that are due to your genetics are much higher than you realize.
sometimes no matter what you do you'll never get good nail, hair or skin. period. it just won't happen.
in the case of nails, at least it's more affordable and easier to obtain than hair and skin enhancements.

has gel x made your natural nails too thin? i have been using gel recently and it has ruined by natural nails even though i soak them my nails off
i think if you don’t give your nails a break and consistently do gel x nails, over time depending on your genetics as well, your nails can become thinner and weaker. There are great remedies for fixing damaged nails but it takes time.

The tinfoil method is so much easier , you just remove one @ the time , it doesnt harden
