Such an amazing interview. Thank you!!!! I agree about the need for a Major Taylor movie. Worcester, MA has a blvd named after him as well as a statue. I'll get a picture and send it to both of you. Thanks, Will

Lance, this was one of the best podcasts you’ve ever done. Dhani was a great choice as guest and the historic timing was perfect. I’d love to see Dhani back again and hear you guys discuss the way in which our society has a peculiar tendency to create, and just as easily, destroy our heroes. In this process of hero creation, do we place an unreasonable expectation of how our heroes should behave, thus setting them up for failure? And, how does this process relate to our ability (and inability) as a society to implement effective leadership and change?
I would also love to hear both of you talk about what cycling does for each of you personally.
Thanks, as always, for putting yourself out there. Cheers! 💕

Thank you for this podcast! Please make a movie about Major Taylor! Also, if you haven't read it, I'd love to suggest reading Michelle Alexander's "The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness. Also, watch Free Meek on Amazon.

The stage from Postal TDF would be when you waited for Ulrich when he crashed. Pro move for sure. Not sure it would happen now.

Never liked Lance, not because him cheating... he was not alone. But the way in how the arrogance and threatening was involved. And I am from Belgium, so I can say I have some cycling knowledge. Not being a big fan of E. Merckx neither. Not denying his quality and victories but because he never admitted or showed
repentance about him being on the juice and even called in Monarchy assistence to set him clear from 2 positive tests... anyhow I am drifting away from my point.
All things considered, I have respect for Lance as an journalist? specialist? in him analysing different cycling classics, round stages, cyclocross, MTB. He really is top level at dissecting tactics, unfolding/results of attacks, timing, positioning, mental stress during cycling battles and how to win a koers😉
He has the gift of saying things clear and to point and being very effective at it.
Started watching his podcasts last year(s) and I like him much more seeing him in this way than that 'former way we all talked enough about by now'
He's doing a good job at what he's doing now and I hope he does well, stays healthy and just has some fun. Lance U changed my perception in the way U talk, behave, being self-critical and not so 'bully untouchable' acting.
Never thought saying this, but I mean it and can accept a fault of my assumption or how to say it. Voel me niet te groot om toe te geven dat ik nooit verwacht had dit te mogen aanschouwen. Shout Out to L.A.

I love lance - but- seriously liberal- Can we have a balanced discussion? I love Dhani also- because he is a person first---- PLEASE WHEN DISCUSSING POLITICS PLEASE HAVE A A BALANCED DISCUSSION- Stop discussing "what someone should do " or what should be done" The truth is people strive hard work hard to achieve- and yes they get lucky also- but they have to work to get into position to get lucky! ok- done - just keep balanced.
