Great video again Ned and Crew ! Really liked all the great finds ! You have such a Flair for telling the history i can tell it is a real passion for you!
My favorite part of bottle hunting is the research after the digging is done. Love your videos Ned and crew
I know right ?? It makes the stuff you find even cooler because you have a story !
This is one of very few channels where I watch one hundred percent of the videos. I'm willing to bet you have great analytics on your channel. Keep up the good work!

Very entertaining video and amazing finds. Nice job guys!
As long as there are still treasures to find, there will always be Bottle Ned 💪😎😁
That lamp is insane !
Great history lessons and as always, hilarious content! The trio i would love to hang out with and shoot the botts lore with. I hope you are all safe from the floods and mudslides. With any luck, maybe some sick bottles will slide out? Much ❤ from Nova Scotia ❤
That cup with the little Ayers bott inside is a "Spooner" cup. People didn't drink out of it. Silverware went inside to be set on a fancy table.
Sweet ! Yeah it looked like some fancy container for the table - that’s good to know !
great video guys from rhode island theres a lot of history under our feet you just got to find it keep diggin
Paige and Ned are the perfect couple for this subject!!! Easy on the eyes and good at what they're doing... The glass lamp qualifies as treasure... Perfect, unbroken and beautiful....I can imagine that someone doing their "business" accidentally dropped it into the pit of no return....💩😭 Finding two lamps means someone was very unlucky or, just afflicted by the butter finger syndrome...
I really enjoyed everything & everyone on this episode! Yous make digging poop shacks fun! Rk.
Gotta admit…the shard quiz was my favorite part👍👍👍
WHAT A BEAUTY !!!!
I've got five distinct sink outs on my 1870s farm that I've spotted so far, plus some possible trash heaps with bottle and crock shards turned up when I did some plowing. Loggers were here in the 1830s, so the potential is huge, the first settler had a history of moonshining and hiding caches of shine in gin bottles on the property. I'm going to use tools and methods I've seen used in your vids to excavate these potential treasure holes.
Hey Ned does Hammy have a book or anything about western glass?
There really isn’t one singular book ever published covering western Bottles in general; it’s kind of a bunch of information that you can find in bits and pieces. If you go online and search “Western bottle news” that’s a pretty good blog that gives you a lot of cool information about western bottles. Hammy has contributed quite a bit of information to that, as well as other very knowledgeable collectors.
No wonder you've got a Lust for Life!
Paige ads class to the channel.
Love the lamp
I can only dream of digging one of those whiskey bottles here in Australia 🇦🇺 I have a few local bottles from the region that I live in, but no whole rare one yet. I am slowly digging a mid 1800’s pub site and finding some great stuff 🤞🫶🇦🇺
Hammy wins. Gotta go with the strong embossing. Your drippy lip is magnificent though ❤
Your bottle Ned. I love your stuff. It’s really cool. Any more videos coming out soon?
How do you split up the bottles after the dig?
I'm working on a way to recycle the older broken glass back into sand. It's kind of a grind.
You should team up with a biologist to study the seeds and organics. Hard to believe how little poo there actually is in these pits. Did people close and open pits frequently?
Hammy for the Win!!!!
EAPG spoon holder, part of a table set. There was a sugar bowl, creamer, butter dish and a spoon holder.
Can someone tell me what the tool is Ned uses? I believe it’s called a Pico, but I cannot find it anywhere. Where can you buy this?
In the bottle shard challenge, the only two I could guess was the Old Sachem barrel and the San Francisco Gaslight Company Ammonia bottle. It is funny I got the toughest one right and not the others, but I’m a New England digger, so we rarely see the others in this area. I have only hit one killer dump in a small town, where I pulled out over 25 whole Masons Patent jars in both the pony and large size, plus a minty pint THE SUN jar with the lid, plus dozens of pontil meds and sodas. Most of what we find here is pulverized bottles, because of the vast amount of glacial rocks all over the place. I can see how Western bottles are so desirable. The forms, colors and embossing is much better. The best we get is the occasional Drakes Plantation. I did find a mint U.S.A. HOSPITAL DEPT. bottle in a surface dump in my back woods in a bright citron honey amber, neatly broken into 3 pieces.
Hey man do you still have that EASTMAN bottle you found a while back??
That thing is in a bottle split I still need to do!
If you have questions about it send me a msg on Instagram @bottlened_digs_the_old_west and I’ll let you know if n when I can get my hands on it !
Page rocks!
I'd love to see that purple lamp with a burner and globe attached to it, full of oil and burning bright again.

The lamps is an early kerosene lamp from the 1860-1870. Blown font and pressed foot.
The clear glass lamp is from 1870’s and made by Hobbs Brockunier Glass Co.
I just Love PPP!

I know it’s a habit with you. But you shouldn’t use the Lord‘s name so frequently. I know you’re not saying it in vain but still it doesn’t sound good.
I agree. Trying to shake that habit and replace those words with something similar but bott-related instead.
You need to wear dust masks when digging, because of all the toxic lead paint dust, and asbestos stirred up when you dig these privy's. Also the human feces you dig through to extract all of the great bottles. These particals can cause serious heath, and respritory problems!!! Love your videos, Keep on digging, but please be safe and wear masks. God bless all of your team members and friends!!!
I didn't even need to watch the video to see Ned is shamelessly capitalizing on sexualizing his "friend" Paige to get more views in his videos. Maybe she doesn't mind him objectifying her, but seeing her being hocked as a sex object while Ned could easily portray her in a more respectful manner is extremely disappointing. Do better Ned, and Paige, you deserve more respect.
Rhode Island Bottle Guy: The fact that you think I’m “sexualizing” someone in a video without even watching the video tells me you are sexualizing her in your mind. I’m going to start a fund that’s called “get Ribottleguy a girlfriend”.
PS since you’re also making digging videos, try supporting your fellow digger content makers instead of trolling them.
Nice try bro, did it occur to you that I might have watched some of your previous videos and observed your treatment of Paige before drawing conclusions? Dirty jokes, intentional close ups of cleavage etc. It's deliberate and disappointing. My observation is simply based on how all advertising works. They know sex sells. You know it too. So you use Paige in a semi-promiscuous way to promote your channel.
PS: You should think about getting into politics because you're quite good at dodging touchy issues and playing the victim.
@@RIBottleguy you should get out of politics bringing all your white knight dribble to the comment section of a digging channel. I think you're just jealous of how much better Neds content is than yours and that he has an absolutely gorgeous digging partner like 3P and hammy.
@@RIBottleguy My videos are about bottle digging and Paige's badass digging skills; I can't help it if you keep looking at them and seeing an 80s beach bikini beer commercial. You should learn to look at woman in a broader way than just a pile of boobs. Women make great diggers and history seekers so please stop classifying them so narrowly.
Quit trolling your fellow diggers on public forums, get outside, touch grass, and find a girlfriend because you’ve brought up sex far too many times in this thread & it’s starting to make me uncomfortable.
RIBottleguy: States how women should be treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.
BottleNed: Stop looking at them as a pile of boobs! (also the one with said "pile of boobs" in his thumbnail)
My head hurts so much right now, but thanks for the laugh I guess?
Also came by to check this out because of rockscousteau.
This is by far my favorite bottle digging channel on UA-cam. Really like seeing Page come dig with you. Keep up the good work...
