Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti, faces Gonave Bay. The Musée du Panthéon National Haïtien celebrates the country's history and its founding fathers. A large covered bazaar that dates back to 1891, Ironhi Market is lined with vendors of merchandise and handicrafts. Nearby is the massive Notre-Dame de la Sompione Cathedral, which was destroyed in the 2010 earthquake. Colorful early 19th-century gingerbread-style houses characterize the city.

I'm confused. There are all those luxury yachts in Port au Prince yet Haiti is the worst country economically in the Western Hemisphere and the US Government warned US citizens to leave Haiti immediately? Something isn't tracking correctly.

Port au Prince is the better side of Haiti while Cap Haitien is the dirty grimey side of Haiti, trust me I know, I go to Okap every year that's the "real" side of Haiti
