I teach a similar philosophy or methodology Ray, and agree that these lists of 10 should be similar because the items should provide aid and well-being for people. One thing that alot of new people don't get is that the 10-Cs are categories and not individual pieces of kit. Having redundancy is a good thing... "two is one, one is none"; which is why I prefer 3 items for redundancy, especially for critical items. I also add two more Cs for a total of 12 Cs: Care (first aid) and Calories (food, meals and snacks).
I carry Band-Aids inside the plastic bag with the rain poncho. But I forgot to show them and I completely forgot about the importance of a map when you’re hiking, a location you’re not familiar with. Lol when was this video shot you’re wearing a jacket!😂😊
