You could have two different arrangements of the flaps: one where the numbers ascend with each flap and one where they descend with each flap, depending on the use case
Im planning to build my own multi-row split-flap display. Are you planning to share any code/designs/..? If you are opensourcing it, I could adapt the code to work on different display sizes.

It’s usbc and can take 20v 5A. Each unit only take about 3w
