i agree but a good change would also be to reduce the lunge on the knifes and the weird 180 lock ons that happen. they also need to fix the lung where u u swing and lunges at them first but they end up killing u😭

You should totally use move forward fearlessly when you’re trying to clutch in a match from dragon ball z budokai it would be a pretty epic track to use!
Haha considering how melee was in the original MW2 I don’t see anything wrong with the way it currently is…. People say it’s OP… but a player still has to get pretty close to you for it to be effective…in a small tight cornered area melee would probably be most effective….. but in open areas… you’re screwed if you’re out in the open…. Haha considering all maps have some form of open space… if you get melee’d it’s a good chance due to poor positioning and lack of awareness… haha now those Covert Sneakers are what I would call OP… lol you’d never know their coming…. I think with that one to balance it out and make it make sense it should reduce a players movement speed… nearly everyone is rocking covert sneakers… haha it’s hard to really rely on your headset for enemy positioning… aside from pinpointing shots fired ..... But hey it all is what it is.... I'm not going to waste energy getting upset about it if anybody is able to use it.... If you keep getting knifed.... Switch to a knife lol .... And if you still continue getting knifed...then just admit it to yourself.... You may not be as good as the person with the knife .... As good as a person may be.... More than likely there is someone better.... I know for sure I'm far from the best.... Hell all I play is domination haha.... I'm good at the game mode cause I understand how it works.... Buuuut I'm not the best....regardless of the fact that I top the leaderboard on most of my games .... I'm just going hard for the objective haha that's really all I'm good at for that one....
It's definitely op with the increased health on this game. They just need to reduce the lunge because they can get you from way too far away. Covert sneakers aren't op because everyone uses them. It's essentially removed soundwhoring from the game which is a massive improvement. Yes it's can be annoying but imo the pros outweigh the cons. Especially in s&d with the matchmaking. I often end up last alive against multiple enemies because the game gives me teammates with no thumbs or eyes, and not being soundwhored in a 4v1 is much more doable.
I think u are right in a way, melee is REALLY a problem because of covert sneakers. But also to be fair, back in the day melee was as strong as it was due to perks like commando

I think they should leave the knife/karambit speed, but it should do 149 damage so that you’re unable to one hit a player at full health.

Knives shouldn't be 1 hit unless head or upper torso, any other hit inflicts bleed unless stimmed and deal 3/4 health dmg.
