Hi Chu! If and when you go to Malay wedding, you’ll love it! The rice set you ate is the main dish. Usually there are many other food - some sort of dessert, some fruits, and perhaps different kinds of drinks, depending on the bride and groom’s budget.

In Terengganu, u can have nasi minyak everyday Chu! It's one of our breakfast menu 😊 or u can try different nasi everyday for breakfast:

Monday - Nasi Kapit sambal
Tuesday - Nasi Dagang
Wednesday - Nasi Kerabu
Thursday - Nasi Kuning
Friday - Pulut Gaul Nyior

We called that rice Nasi Minyak . In English we can call it Butter or Ghee Rice. We used a combination of ghee & butter to made that rice together with spices, onion, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, condensed milk and screwpine leaves. Homemade nasi minyak is the best.👍👍✌✌😊
