Love this! When I give advice about writing comics I always recommend just writing 1-22 in an program and write what happens on each page so you can see the entire comic/chapter as a whole.
Very cool idea! I sort of misuse Slides (whatever flavour I have on hand, Keynote, Google, PowerPoint, etc)for this sort of thing, but yeah, I can see how Trello would be very handy, too - I think they have a mobile version (used to, anyway) so you don't necessarily have to be stuck online to do this...
My early Names are like a crazy mix of this, storyboards, and traditional writing script all thrown randomly on printer paper. Then I circle, highlight and draw lines around things to figure how it'll read. Sometimes I edit this into a clean Name, other times I just jump into digital afterwards. Also if you call it "man ga" again. I will find you.
