OMG this was my jam! I used to play this song for hours and hours. This and "There's nothing to hard for God" . We were real COGIC kids back then. I am just thrilled to hear this again. The Clark Sister were the soundtrack to our lives. We couldnt wait for their albums to come out back then. And to go and see them back then was to us like going to a Michael Jackson concert. Because church is all we could do. Going to Memphis was like going to Vegas! lol lol
i luv the part where Dorinda says "the people will survive during in the city" got that stevie wonder feel to it luv it luv them ..AMEN yes we are in Good Hands ..yes Lord
All of the Clark Sisters are AWESOME! Sing sisters sing, I love you and Denise I miss you but I have all the old albums so I will never get tired of the sisters Clark because they bring me joy whenever I listen to them! I just miss the old school Clarks because I am old school. God Bless Everyone!
This song takes me back to when I used to listen to this tape every day in the car when my dad would take me to school in the mornings. He used to take me to McDonald's every morning to get breakfast, so this song makes me think of the taste and smell of Mickey D's in the morning! LOL Funny how music does that for ya! It also takes me back to my childhood coming up in church, cause we used to listen to this stuff on the way to conventions and stuff! Lawd those were the days!
who lead this song>? it sounds like Dorinda then it sounds like karen.. and when they did that low ole' time run lol it sounded like twinkie.. im confused lol
i wonder if that's fred hammond playing bass on this song. I know he played on early winans material, and @ that time the CS worked with the winans and shirley murdock
