1:46 Just as an idea to make it more terrifying is if you let the audio and scene play like normal without the glitching and black & red effect, which makes the answer me painting more subtle and it's like a moment you will miss and would be spooked when you find it. Btw I think the animation and drawings a really good and I just thought I could share some ways for you to make it more spooky because the creepiest thing ever is when cryptic messages are shown in something cosy hidden or direct and no one takes any notice. That creates uncertainty which also produces fear and that leads into effective horror. P.S I'm not a professional and I just love sharing my thoughts and creativity, hope you're doing swell :)
