Whydo you always get into time trouble
I’ve wondered the same.
My guess is that he’s really strong in time trouble and/or he really needs the time to think in the middle game, so he performs best like this so keeps doing it.
I think he is less worried about time and more worried about explaining the position until he has to start playing quickly. And I think he also really is trying to find the best move in each situation.
In a 3 minute blitz game, he explains the tactics to us. I can barely think through 3 minute blitz games at a 1300-1400 Elo without explaining things as I go.
@@keithtorrence2487 I agree that he's trying to find the best move, but he also gets in time trouble frequently in games where he's not trying to be educational.
Some players overthink when they have time but then when time low they play on instinct and make some good moves quickly but also some bad ones. Seems Amans chess strategy is to get a great position that he can easily move quickly in the endgame to win

Game 2 I didn't see any chat accusations from opponent.
A GM-tier time blitzer would be that unaffected by time pressure. Some weird blunders made at the 2k level for sure but I probably would've choked.
