- This is the new single by Men Of Standard member and former singer for Kirk Franklin and John P. Kee, Isaac Carree. "Simply Redeemed" written by Tommy Sims and Marc Harris, has been recorded by Heather Headley and Brian Courtney Wilson. I, personally, prefer this version. This is from his upcoming album "Uncommon Me" which has no specific release date as of now. Here are the lyrics:

To those suffering with family behind bars. I was once there. My brother-in-law remains behind bars. Guilty or innocent - we have all been redeemed. No big sin or little sins, just those who get caught and those who get redeemed through the courts...simply put, redeemed! Thank you Jesus for the blood that redeems even when men do not!
I dont know what to say.. i listen to this song just about every morning and evening ever since i first heard it on Sirius XM.. I didnt know who he was but i'll never forget now.. lyrics like this truly can only come from the Lord! so glad i've been redeemed..though i was and still am unworthy of the love and faithfulness of the father, i'm just glad he saw fit to redeem me! This song really spoke to me. God doesn't want you to, nor does he expect you to. He just wants you try and put forth some effort. Too many of us pray when we need him to help us, but. just to talk. How can you ask someone to save your life but you can't even talk to them without it being a need or a want? I'm not perfect either, I'm just simply redeemed.
This is a wonderful song the anointing flowing in the very breath of this young man is absolutely amazing. God increase in His life more and more In Jesus Name! The natural flow of His voice through this young man... im amazed.

I heard this on the gospel music channel and I began looking for it. The music channel said it was Brian Courtney Wilson but when I pulled it up it didn't sound the same. Issac Caree's version is so beautiful it touches my spirit.

you don't know how long I've been waiting for Isaac to release this song!!!!!!!! I heard it years ago on the radio by Isaac but when I inquired as to where I could purchase it, i was told that it was not for sale to the public. I heard Heather Headley singing this very familiar sounding song; rejoiced and cried all the way through it before realizing that this was the same song I had been waiting for Isaac to release years ago. AS always God does everything in his own perfect timing.
