SAMODIVI is one of the most emotionally impactful moments i've ever experienced in music generally, let alone in a mix like this one. Downtempo tries to be emotionally unintrusive so that the listener can get studying done or whatever it is they're going to do, but in that particular song the typical lofi repetition sneaks up into the giant emotional release that I can't help but be very present for, before fading out very smoothly and gracefully back into the still quite pleasant, but more conventional techno beats. It's genius. Even though to me it undeniably is an emotional climax it doesn't treat itself like one. It's unpretentious and genuine in the same way life's unpresented joys are.
