Hi Spencer Thanks alot for this new UA-cam channel for illustration..after watching ur illustrator videos, im inspired to work with illustration and keep practicing to making some illustration works... As a beginner, it's quite difficult, but ur videos just motivating me to work with..
Hmm i have everything grouped together and each group is in one layer and i have pieces from each group flying around when i use distribute. It looks like these are all in one layer (because the blue color when you have all selected). I wonder what im doing wrong. They are already aligned so shouldn't be stair stepping and esp not pieces from each group.
Hiee Bro Got A Question I am inside illustrator uploading artwork to one of stock site it's showing me that the layers should be unlocked although I have unlocked all the layers by myself still it's showing me the same is this any error or am I lacking somewhere please help me bro
I struggled to align multiple objects to a specific object. The answers to all my frustrations were answered in this video! Select all objects and then CLICK on the object to which you'd like to align the other objects! Check it out at 1:50 !!!
Aligning anchor-points along paths -- there seem to be a few additional 'quirks' to this -- as it seems like if you try to distribute anchor-points along a path, it will sometimes move paths along with it, not just the anchor points.
Very good tutorial, keep up the good work, recently started using Illustrator, and was having problems aligning some social media icons, as i was trying to do it manually and was having a warm time, this tutorial made it much easier and all icons are now perfectly in sequence 👍
Hi, is there a way to evenly distribute spacing, but to also have the same size spacing between the outer objects and the art board as the spacing between the objects themselves? Thanks!
What I usually do is create two extra objects that sit on the edge of my artboard and evenly distribute everything, then you can delete those after and you have the perfect spacing
I HAVE A QUESTION IM TRYNA MAKE A OBJECT ALING INSIDE THE OBJECT BUT ITS NOW LINING UP IN THE OBJECT ITS KINDA MOVING IT TO THE SIDE HOW TO I MAKE IT SO I CAN FREELY MOVE OBJECT INSIDE OF IT BEING STIFF
Turn on smart guides and snap to point. Make sure snap to pixel is turned off. All these options in the View drop-down menu. Then drag the shapes close to each other and their sides should snap
