I think a lot of people disliked it because Sechan attacked Somin using her personal life which he knows will shake her. YSC is very competitive and he seems to be the guy to do whatever it takes to win something (even if it isn't funny anymore). Meanwhile, JSM's attacks were light (as YJS said) and didn't even scratch the surface. I've seen so many "Of Course" games that were pretty harsh too so I wasn't really taking what he said to heart bec LKS, Haha, and everyone else have done this before. But as a viewer, I just felt uncomfortable for JSM the entire episode. Also, Jeon Somin is beautiful! Even if it was a joke, but the fact that some members were saying that she's not, I still find it uncomfortable hearing that sometimes. But at least they make it up by saying that she's cute. lol

A lot of people here are overreacting on the Absolutely game. Obviously Somin was cool about it. She could've asked the RM team to edit that part out if she was offended. Se Chan also kept repeating before they start that it was just a game, and warned her of what is to come.
the episodes are pre recorded abt 1 or 2 weeks (unsure) before being released. if it was really that bad they wouldnt air it and they are practically adults guys..move on stop being dramatic
Back then there's episode of kwangsoo pulled jongkook's pants and RM staff let it slide and air them just like that with censoring, why? Because for them it's funny and they don't care about members well being, they just want clout. Well if it is who I think it is, Sechan's currently in a badminton variety show with him, maybe they talked, and it probably made him thought the relationship ended nicely, and since it was years ago, he thought it was fine to use it in a game.

The problem is, Se-chan acts like he will bring more pain to Somin if she keeps continuing to play the game. When Yoo Jae-suk had to declare that Se-chan win the game to stop the intense pressure, the first thing Se-chan do is he dancing while Somin's still holding up her emotions. Of course, Se-chan comes back and tries to comfort Somin, but the damage has been done by him.

for sukjin's case, even during his guest appearance on other program sukjin often mention his banter with his wife as self diss. even knowing bros cast ask sukjin tone down with his story because they know sukjin sometimes went overboard with his story just for laugh.
as far as i remember RM members never comment about jihyo public relationship that time because they're surprised, they just silently looking over her. only gary spoke about it because they're doing love line, even after they're broke up jihyo never share her story. RM members able to listen to her relationship story when jihyo decide to spoke up first

I enjoyed this episode but Se Chan crossed the line during the self control game. I love them both but he was too hard on her. As soon as I heard him warning her not to get mad that it was just a game I knew he was gona take things far. It made me feel uncomfortable for her. I would’ve cried tbh. Hopefully next time he won’t be as harsh. No hate just expressing how I felt about that part of the episode. 😕
