I was literally thinking yesterday "Amina hasn't uploaded in a while!" Your UA-cam fam has defo missed you. I love mielle's protein free deep conditioner because my hair is protein sensitive. hey amina i am a new natural ( i big chopped a little over a year ago.. ) and im in a point now that i am really happy with the health of my hair and look of it i plan on coloring the end of my hair with semi permanent dye and i wanted to ask if it is damaging? does it lift the hair cuticule and change the porosity or curl shape? and over all can it damage my hair in any way? or just sits on top and rinses out over time? thank you a lot p.s i know it is long i just dont know anything about color lol and i just wanted to make sure love you a lot
That’s awesome, congrats on bringing your hair back to health! Semi permanent dye can definitely be a safe hair color option when applied correctly. Depending on what kind you choose can effect what possible risks you’re taking with your hair, but if you’re not using bleach it’s definitely a much safer option!
To balance out the level of my highlights in a couple areas I used Clairol Textures & Tones in Honey Blonde (picked this up in CVS) which didn’t contain any ammonia or peroxide and had a very low risk of damage. I loved the results and can def recommend if this is a DIY situation!
