Not sure the performance is needed nowadays with our congested road network, Had performance cars and the acceleration and speed is intoxicating though and puts a smile on my face every time. Smart looking car, colour and tron like lights on the boot are very nice looking forward to Pt 2 👍
im in Australia so the sites you visited were really interesting just as much as the MG4 Xpower which im looking at buying soon .. The Xpower ( while ive taken one for a test drive and not the same as a full day drive ) seems like a value for money rocket that while the range is low ( when you can fit the whole of england in to my home state of Victoria ) with far less changing stations here if your doing small to medium trips it feels like a winner.. Any standout issues after the trip by chance ??
Thank you Volvo, yes it’s the one we’d go for, in part 2 you’ll see it economises more so when I drive a more balanced journey rather than floored. I also high light what’s lacking and what I’d like to see in the next generation, part 2 will go live Saturday night - we have a review too if you’d like to see that? Crazy the size comparison 😮 by the way

Around here it’s still applicable but I get what you mean. Nothing beats it and it’s great fun, Part 2 Saturday 😀 thank you
Really nice part of the world to review what is quite a decent looking car 🚗 (pity it's not ice) 😂 joking aside it does look the part .🎉
Thank you, David - glad you enjoyed it. We had fun bopping around The Lakes, and although it’s not ICE, it’s a peppy little hatchback! *A
You can set the button on the steering wheel to change drive modes
You can, they now have the same system in the new ZS too 😀

impressive 430hp, a lot of speed resources
The way it puts the power down especially in the wet, is quite phenomenal 🛞
@@PlanetautoUK I will wait until April when we change to summer tires here in Sweden then I will go to an MG dealer and test drive the Xpower.
@@PlanetautoUK the Xpower reminds of the Fiesta ST. that would be epic if Ford could offer us the Fiesta ST all electric
@Startklar.77 cool as, keep us posted 😀
From my experience, the max state of charge is 97%. Did you notice the same?
No, it was higher than that, il double check - has been that since you bought it?
@@PlanetautoUK Yes, since 7 months now. I wonder if I should pay a visit to the dealership for a software update.
@fumontanaka that sounds a good idea, keep us posted
What happened to your BYD Atto 3?
It went back to BYD after the roadtrip 😀
@@PlanetautoUK ok nice
We’re just off to pick up a Tesla 🤫 more soon
@@PlanetautoUK Look forward to the video 🙂
