It's merely a different scenario, but there's nothing to say that the Visual Novel's Saber Alter couldn't handle Heracles the same way if she had to. The problem here is how weak Heracles truly is as a Berserker. He lost his arms mastery, 9 Lives Noble Phantasm, doesn't even have his famed club despite the Class being perfect for it, all for the trade off, of having higher physical parameters which aren't even that impressive by today's standards. And the narrative tries to act like he's still a top tier Servant, when Emiya alone can solo half his lives at a cqc disadvantage, and God Hand isn't even absolute, its authority gets overruled if the attack is, "powerful enough." So the one thing that does keep him in the game, can't even be relied upon when up against actually strong Servants. There just ain't no way someone like that should be that much of a struggle for a character that can go 50/50 against the actual strongest Servant, Gilgamesh, and potentially one shot God slayers & world destroyers with her Noble Phantasm. I'm not shitting on Heracles mind you. I'm just calling out the writers for making his kit so weak when in theory he should be a top 10 strongest baseline Servant of all time.

Is the dark side really so bad? Everyone has a dark side... We all have had dark thoughts at some point or another. Sometimes the dark is the only option depending on the circumstances. I really admire Saber Alter who tried to do everything to achieve her goals no matter the cost. Sometimes we must sacrifice something or many things to achieve our desires. I've had to sacrifice my relationships with friends in order to focus and achieve my goals in life only to realize I became all alone with no one to turn to in the end. But I also found new friends. There is always a bright side and there is always a dark side. Simply Put we all have regrets we all have to sacrifice it's just a part of life and we all must go through it at some point. I find it sad that Saber Alter can't move on from her regret.

The fight wasn't even shown and Artoria Alter humiliated Heracles as it is said that she cut off his god hand easily, Heracles didn't have the slightest chance, the shadow didn't help at all, it just took 2 of his lives. In Fate Grand Order Saber Alter easily defeated Heracles and all the other servants of the 5th Grail war. And in Fate Grand Order there wasn't even Sakura with the Grail mud to fight Heracles. Artoria Alter destroyed all 12 of Heracles' lives easily.

But overall i like the ship cause it gives both characters a happy ending. Shirou becomes a hero worthy of reaching Avalon and Saber gets to be with the man she loves for all eternity.

Me too, she was my first try and I'm glad she was, she was also my first Lv 100. Also, my first(and still only) 5 stars was normal Saber, so I got the team.

Originally Fate seemed to be a battle of martial prowess and skill, with one's servant overpowering the other through skill, deception, or brute force, with a few massive hits here and there. Now it feels like all the servants at the top are essentially throwing nukes at each other! (Not that I mind. Sieg vs Karna rocks and don't even get me started on Quetzalcoatl) Anyway, it always seemed like Saber wouldn't be able to keep up with most of the servants from recent shows, even the likes of Mordred, in terms of raw power. But Saber Alter...She beat Berserker like it was nothing. Is her alter power that much stronger? Is she holding back most of the time for some reason? Or is it that in Zero and Stay Night she was not summoned properly and therefor not at peak performance, and in Shiro's case, not able to get the mana she needed. But in Alter from, she lacks any restraint and more or less has an endless source of mana. Maybe it's been explained in other sources or all Alter froms are more powerful to allure you into turning?
well you see saber's fighting is heavily reliant on using mana both shirou and kiritsigu are actually pretty average in terms of mana supply in heaven's feel as an alter she was under sakura who was getting her mana from the grail itself and thus was at full power thus the reason alter was way more powerful
Consider that we literally never saw Saber at the peak of her strenght (and yes she tends to hold back her power to avoid collateral damage). She was always heavily nerfed in some way. The time she was closest to her full power was at the end of the Fate route, when she fought Gilgamesh with Avalon and even then she probably wasn't even close to her maximum cause of her limited mana and reduced parameters (because of Shirou being her Master). Saber's greatest problem is not having access to Avalon, wich is in my opinion the most powerful Noble Phantasm (even more than Enuma Elish). Excalibur too is nerfed because of the Thirteen seals the reduce its power. I personally think that Gilgamesh is regarded as the strongest Heroic Spirit solely because of those nerfs.
I like Alturia more, than Arthuria. And her Excalibur Morgan is one of the best Phantasms, such as Photon Ray, An Gal Ta Ki Gal Se and Maria The Ripper

Michael Joseph Mercado Salter is kinda an interesting character. Objectively, she’s a lot more dangerous in this state even with the downgrades due to having infinite mana, which allows her to have Morgan constantly active and mana burst on overdrive. Salter also shows up in a singularity in Grand Order and has some pretty funny moments, like where she basically steals a dog because it’s cute.

krasuratos ill try to answer this to the best of my knowledge, forgive me for any missing details bro: She didnt die when she was taken in by the darkness at the end of HF1. The darkness corrupted her and she became her alter form. And since she is now fully connected to the darkness: UNLIMITED MANA And in her alter form, artoria doesnt give a single flying f**k. She doesnt conceal excalibur and she cares very little for collateral damage. Hence the endless phaser beams and the mini nuclear explosion in the end. Her armor is heavier in alter form so she can take herc’s hits like nothing. Note that when herc manage to connect a punch in Salter’s abdomen, nothing happens. This was also a mirror the HF1 saber’s first fight with herc, where she was in a striking pose but herc managed to hit her abdomen first and she was completely winded. In HF2, she was also in a striking pose and herc managed to connect a punch to her abdomen, but this time it did nothing. She answered herc’s failed gutpunch with a flying uppercut. And i cant remmbr how many times herc revived due to her unrelenting attacks, but the final NP blast probably finished off whatever lives herc had left. This answer is fully open to any corrections and additions. Hope that was helpful

krasuratos actually,, i wana take back my last line: we know saber didnt die when she swallowed by the darkness. But we didnt see herc being swallowed by the darkness. We just see him die (was that even his last life?) coz i know from the trailer of hf3 that he came back as dark beserker. I mean, i know why the darkness completely digested gil into mana after it swallowed him: it didnt wana a risk a super-egotistical gil crawling back out of its bowels n fighting again. Basically, Hercules gets a huge resistance to whatever killed him last time, making it harder if not impossible to be killed the same way twice or with the same weapon. Saber alter is strong enough that it just simply doesnt matter. There is too much power to resist.

krasuratos ill try to answer this to the best of my knowledge, forgive me for any missing details bro:
She didnt die when she was taken in by the darkness at the end of HF1. The darkness corrupted her and she became her alter form.
And since she is now fully connected to the darkness: UNLIMITED MANA
And in her alter form, artoria doesnt give a single flying f**k. She doesnt conceal excalibur and she cares very little for collateral damage. Hence the endless phaser beams and the mini nuclear explosion in the end.
Her armor is heavier in alter form so she can take herc’s hits like nothing. Note that when herc manage to connect a punch in Salter’s abdomen, nothing happens.
This was also a mirror the HF1 saber’s first fight with herc, where she was in a striking pose but herc managed to hit her abdomen first and she was completely winded. In HF2, she was also in a striking pose and herc managed to connect a punch to her abdomen, but this time it did nothing. She answered herc’s failed gutpunch with a flying uppercut.
And i cant remmbr how many times herc revived due to her unrelenting attacks, but the final NP blast probably finished off whatever lives herc had left.

@@arsyadidris2919 her ROFL stomping him does not confuse me by at all by any means. just the fact that she has one NP and his powers make it to where he cant get killed by the same one repeatedly. then he goes on and gets killed 12 times by the same NP......but her beating the sht outta him is a no brainer for me just him dying is.
krasuratos actually,, i wana take back my last line: we know saber didnt die when she swallowed by the darkness. But we didnt see herc being swallowed by the darkness. We just see him die (was that even his last life?) coz i know from the trailer of hf3 that he came back as dark beserker.
I mean, i know why the darkness completely digested gil into mana after it swallowed him: it didnt wana a risk a super-egotistical gil crawling back out of its bowels n fighting again. Hell, in fate/zero he got the full blast of grail mud and that didnt do much did it 😂😂. Goldie was posing all sexy n naked aftee that hahah.
@@krasuratoshe can be killed by same np 12 times in the other 2 rotes he lose 12 lives for excalibur from shirou and in ubw gilgamesh kill he it gate he babilône beserk has one body too strong for be easy killed 12 times for weak nf because he skin become more strong as he died maybe this cause your confusion.
Basically, Hercules gets a huge resistance to whatever killed him last time, making it harder if not impossible to be killed the same way twice or with the same weapon. Saber alter is strong enough that it just simply doesnt matter. There is too much power to resist.
