There's another method for figuring out fake doors, that is probably the best as you don't have to wait, as it's quick and consistent. If you look at the screen with the door number on it, and there are little lines stretching horizontally, it's fake.

There's definetly more. Only one I can think of off the top of my head is Return of the Obra Dinn (You can find a small pocket watch that looks identical to the one in the game), but I'm sure there's more
