That first shot looks like utter chaos. As though some mid level manager in the city sent out every driver in every piece of equipment available to go to the job site with vague instructions to “clean up.” Beverly Hills and Santa Monica look much more organized, they both have some really nice equipment. Also very lucky you caught this right before the world shut down.
Wow, Mando's Kenworth long dump looks goooood! Enjoyed watching the PB loaders at work with all the cups, that never gets old. And that Pete long dump at 9:18 was gorgeous too! Didn't know LA had those! SaMo was great. Loved watching the Scorpions collect the 300s and also liked the street sweeper footage at 25:49 in particular. Great job!
Those front loader trucks must be unique to America as we don't have them over here in England, i see they use both mechanical and suction sweepers too, we only have the suction ones over here.
if your talking about garbage truck front loaders they’re found in Australia too, but if your talking about the yellow PB loaders I believe they are unique to USA only.
@George White - We do still have the mechanical ones in the UK. My son-in-law drives one and brings it home every night, then parks it outside their house, - ruddy great thing, the neighbours are always moaning.
7:19: Strangest reversing beep I've ever heard. 10:29: The hydraulic piston seems to be lacking in grease. 10:32: Automatic folding of the mirrors? 19:34: That voice came from the police motorcycle's walkie? 20:33: That tab that moves from left to right is the truck press? 24:05: It sounds like a tab when it sounds like this.
At 9:14 I really really super mega really love that brand new peterbilt semi truck & that brand new semi dump trailer👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
PB loaders are useless when it comes to cleaning up stuff like that , they are designed for soil and asphalt hauling. The bucket on the front is for the driver to load soil or other materials and continue on their way without needing a wheelloader to pickup the material.
No..they're used to pick up pine needles, streets heavy with leaves during leaf season or fall if you will...also for palm fronds and most other heavy debris from tree trunks, limbs to rockslides...
Honestly the ALF trucks are not very effective picking up the big items use a RL and then use street sweepers to clean up the rest still I love the condor trucks cool to see how they use the 300s as well
I wonder how this happened it honestly kind of sad because all the animals that probably died from eating the trash I feel bad for all the people because they probably couldn't drive on the road and all kinds of stuff I just feel really bad for people and animals
Awesome video dude. The trucks with the buckets, are they used all year round or just for the marathon? If they are used year round what jobs do they complete
Bucket loaders are used on other things throughout the year. Some of these include brush removal and dirt hauling for Sanitation or the Department of Water and Power.
a smart person would think if they can throw the cups on the ground while running, they could throw it in a large rubbish bin. just putting it out there.
Why are there not people who put this run together out there picking this trash up! Including the runners all that wasted fuel and still a big mess to clean up, you can't tell me after a runner throws it down people on the side can't pick them up and put in a trash can? Use leaf blowers, rakes and brooms make big piles then load by frontend loader to dump trucks, what a joke that is and a waste of tax payer money.
I couldn't run marathons as I find it abhorrent to have trash in my hand and throw it on the ground. I saw a previous years video and people walking on the sidewalk would just go to the curb and throw whatever they had in their hands over the curb into the street! Nooooo! I don't have a good runner's body anyway, I'm 6'4" and wear a size 62 coat, so I'm not short and wiry. I've volunteered to help at mountain "super marathons" (50 milers and up to 9,600 feet elevation). Runners have to stop then throw their cups into trash cans, no exceptions.

Only to someone who doesn't know diddlysquat...

What are you going on doing today you doing
Drainage structures and systems are filled.. wow
If they are going to keep littering in the marathons then the marathons can always be canceled.
A marathon of cancelations sounds good
I’m surprised to see they did 2020, glad to see they’re still running the PB loaders
At 9:18 I really really love that super mega brand new semi truck and that super mega brand new semi dump trailer.

I say to clean up all the small stuff cups and all. I would use some kind of vacuum system
Are those cups plastic? Lot of crap headed to the landfill
those trucks with the scoops on them are pretty useless..
For a bunch of people who push their rules on others, they themselves sure do litter alot 🤔
no kidding
it is easier to just leave the cup there. but lots of trash is generated and i thought LA didn't want that
Good job guys Good work morning....

25:13 Wondering why they didn't use leaf blowers to push the cups from the grass onto the road before the street sweepers went by.
what an interesting video! just discovered this little "Series"
at least the cups were paper, should they end up in the ocean
They’re doing a good job
Honestly the ALF trucks are not very effective picking up the big items use a RL and then use street sweepers to clean up the rest still I love the condor trucks cool to see how they use the 300s as well

Was this the first day on the job for those drivers😕😕
Guess you and a push broom could do it better...
I wonder how this happened it honestly kind of sad because all the animals that probably died from eating the trash I feel bad for all the people because they probably couldn't drive on the road and all kinds of stuff I just feel really bad for people and animals
Is before or after the Marathon???? LA usually looks like that anyways
Bozzo lock description
Did they have that on new years Eve???????????
The garbage company should've ordered those garbage truck with a hose instead of those ones piece of shirts bulldozers.
that hell are cleaning up?
At 17:05 I really really really like that rear loader garbage truck😊🤘😊🤘😊👍😊😊😊👍😊🤘👍😊🤘
Des camions et des engins sur dimensionner pour ramasser des gobelets en plastique et des boîtes de cartons il faut se poser la question !!!
And they look down on me for running my V8 motor
Is your v8 a cng???
Eye don’t mess with that o yes we will 0:11
Great footage!!
It’s interesting how the street sweepers can raise their containers to dump their contents into other trucks, smart.
At 8:46 I really really really like that kenworth semi truck and that grey live bottom semi dump trailer,😀😀😀😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

@@TrashBulldogProductions Thanks for the information.
@@FresnoRefuseTrucks thanks
@@refusetrucksofthenortheast7611 they're also used during heavy leaf season.....pine needles and mulberry leaves..
@@wolfmansicario4482 thanks
Looks like Santa Monica had a much better solution with the big blue trashcans
I say make every spectator stay until it's clean, arrest any who try to leave.
The trucks should have "Your Mommy" written on them
When was this filmed cause still having this marathon with this virus so bad right now is careless
Could this be anymore inefficient!?
a smart person would think if they can throw the cups on the ground while running, they could throw it in a large rubbish bin. just putting it out there.
I was just going to say, can you imagine the millions maybe billions of cups that had to be picked just on their own? Yikes!
Why are there not people who put this run together out there picking this trash up! Including the runners all that wasted fuel and still a big mess to clean up, you can't tell me after a runner throws it down people on the side can't pick them up and put in a trash can? Very entertaining to watch
whats the point on making something that aint gonna piuck up f all
Par contre les grandes poubelles bleue pris Avec le bras super !!!

And this is from the people in the state that are going to save the environment??? What a mess!!!!!!
Huge carbon footprint, lots machinery, that's not very efficient
They can burn all that carbon ,but they look down on me for running my V8 motor
California is one big hypocrite establishment
And this is from the people in the state that are going to save the environment???
Massive trucks with front scoops are useless picking up Cups.
Unnecessary waste waste fuel and pollution
big machines, useless to clean up cups!
Good/new machine cleaning garbage.the olds machine make a living..
It's too bad they don't put the effort to clean up street dumping and homeless camps that way.
Make the runners wear Camel Packs... problem solved. Soldiers in Afghanistan used them in the desert why can't they to do a pointless run in L.A.
Thinks it time to buy some trucks that actually pick up garbage.
A Lot of Trash 😯✨♻️
Now I see why California is broke and woke. How foolish such large equipment for such a lightweight product.
