I bought my first ten thousand shorts (interval) cuz of this guy right here. Let me tell u he was 100% right!! Best shorts I’ve ever had and now I own 5 pairs and more being ordered. Thanks for another great review
Appreciate your videos. Acquired the Ten Thousand Interval (2 pairs) and Set shorts (1 pair) some time ago. They have held together well under heavy rotation. No issues with waist band or draw string and I appreciate the extended liner. Also use the Metcon 7s in part because of your review. They serve me well although I am not the serious lifter that you and most of your viewers are. They are comfortable and their slightly elevated heel assists my lifting. Would hesitate to use them as a running shoe although that is hardly a binding constraint.
I have some interval shorts. Actually I have two pairs and I use them more often than my Virus. Idk if I’d get any other training short tbh, the interval is really all you need. Sturdy. Well built. Durable.
@@superseiyan I have pretty decent thighs, 405 back squat, 315 front squat, and I wear a large. I have a natural 33 waist tho. I tried to go mediums w the liner and they were too tight. Hope that helps!
Same issue with the Tactical Short. Used them once, the WoD included burpees/Kb swings and rowing. 2 threads pulled out, very dissaponted. I have the Intervals and Foundations for almost 2 years now and not a single scratch after trail runs, barbell wods, etc. Already emailed 10K.
Glad I waited on the Tacticals. I would not have been a happy person if they started pulling right away. Do the Set shorts run a little slim compared to Foundations?
I've tried all of Ten Thousand's shorts and love all of them. The only one I am hesitant on is the Tactical Short, because like other people have been saying, it snags super easy. I love the look of it and its functionality, but I'm very disappointed with how easy it snags. I'm not sure how long the short will actually last, which is frustrating considering how much it costs.
@@1ch1goStRawBerry I think the interval shorts are great and versatile, they are great for pretty much every workout. I wouldn't want to go on long runs in them though. A few little quirks about them though... The sizing of the version with the liner is different than without; without the liner fits more snug. The waistband does not sit flush against your waist, it doesn't feel weird or annoying, but aesthetically it does not look like the pictures. And finally, the liner is different than their other liners, as in it is much longer, almost to where you can see it extend below the bottom of the short. Besides these quirks, they feel good, perform well, dry very fast, and have a very appealing look. I highly recommend them, but with Ten Thousand, I would say their shorts are really tailored for specific activities. The Foundation are great for lifting and outdoor adventures because they are so durable with a casual type look. The session are so lightweight and minimalistic that they are very tailored for runs. And the interval short tries to cater to all types of workouts and does that, but with a few quirks. Hope this helps! Note: I am not sponsored by Ten Thousand, but I totally wish I was. I am just completely obsessed with their products haha
I was skeptical at first because I would always wear Lulus 😂 but hot damn those liner interval shorts are hands down the best shorts 🩳 quality stuff!! 10k > lulus. I also like the session shorts those are nice to 👍🏼 stay away from the foundation shorts that board short waist band is crazy dumb!!!! Foundation shirts awful to workout in but to chill and lounge they are good :)
joel, do you think by now they have improved the tactical shorts with a new generation version of it? i just purchased two, one in od green and grey hoping to use them as swim shorts.
I got a couple newer ones and they seem like the fabric doesn’t pull now. I think they’d be fine for swim though I would definitely go with set shorts if that’s your main exercise.
is that correct that they make a lot of swish swash noise when walking or biking(stationary bike)? don't wanna be the guy who makes the noise in the gym ;-)
I mean...you don't have to I guess, but I do. The liner is anti microbial so it shouldn't get too stinky but you might leave some ball sweat residue in there.
@@AMRAP I just couldn't tell if you were joking or not. I was actually shocked when I seen how many people joined the Navy that couldn't swim when I was in the navy

What are your thighs like and did you get the liner? I’m new to the brand. Never tried liners before. Regular 38w.

That’s horrible ASF
I normally wear a medium from their interval line, would you recommend staying with a medium size for their set shorts?
How you finding the tacticals now?
Glad I waited on the Tacticals. I would not have been a happy person if they started pulling right away.
Do the Set shorts run a little slim compared to Foundations?
Yeah they definitely run a little tighter

how do you feel about the interval shorts? specifically for deep squats?

I have all of their shorts and tactical might be my favorite. Love the cut, best waistband, feel a little tougher.
Please review BEARBOTTOM Atlas Short 5.5"
Excellent review. Do they use YKK zippers? Thanks!
Just ordered 4 pair of each.
I love my tactical shorts. First lined short that i have actually liked! I cant wait to get my hands on the set short.
The tactical shorts are nice but beware the pockets. The zipper cover is on the back side of the pocket and makes them a pain to get into.

Hi, does ten thousand have retail stores? or only sale online? if they have retail stores, where can i find them?
Stupid question but I’m going to ask…are you supposed to wear underwear with shorts with liners or not?
Generally no but I know people that do
Will you do a review on Tachuntfish shorts?
Sorry, shorts pockets are sticking out, isn't that bother you? Obviously, you can't put anything securely in the pockets.
Which one do you prefer fabletics shorts or ten thousand shorts? Which gym shorts are your favorite overall?
10k easily. Other brands I like are Legends, Lululemon, myles, rhone, vuori, flexion, chubbies.
Thanks for the great review! Btw, what hat is that?

don't wanna be the guy who makes the noise in the gym ;-)
Yeah a little. Not something that's too noticeable compared to other shorts. If anyone cared about your shorts making noise, they're prob a POS.
Yeah I like the tactical but having same issue
What’s your height and weight?
5'9 180lb
do you have to wash shorts with liner everytime you use them? I assume it'd be uncomfortable to wear underwear under the liner right?
I mean...you don't have to I guess, but I do. The liner is anti microbial so it shouldn't get too stinky but you might leave some ball sweat residue in there.
I know people that wear compression under liner...I never understood it but that might be the reason why.
Great review as always, will you review Virus Air Flex Board Shorts?
Rip stop fabric always look like that. If you buy 5.11 pants that are rip stop they look the same
Yes, I know that.
Did you just casually say you don't know how to swim?
I don’t think saying it any other way would make it any different.
@@AMRAP I just couldn't tell if you were joking or not. I was actually shocked when I seen how many people joined the Navy that couldn't swim when I was in the navy
@@OfficialMarkZuckerberg Haha at the this point in my life I've accepted it. It is weird that a guy from SoCal can't swim though, haha.
@@AMRAP lol right. I would still last you should learn though. Would you accept that answer if someone said they didn't know how to workout?
@@OfficialMarkZuckerberg I guess you'd be right!
Interval or set shorts?
Set if you can swing the cost
How tall are you?
5'9
Great reviews of both, Joel. Have you tried the Fight Short at all?
No but hopefully soon!
@@AMRAP hi joel. Do you rock same size as foundations or do these run smaller? How is the fit on these brother?
@@ralphgrajales8415 I wear the same in all my shorts. They fit about the same as foundations!
So you wear mediums in set and tacticals too?

Set shorts look.... slim on you
Yea, that’s odd. I have 8” adidas that are just above my knee. I almost thought he was showing 5”.
Nice looking BUT

WTF???

Don't buy! Too fucking tight! pockets suck! No back pocket!
