I keep saying these will be the best 5th hand value cars lol. They are so close to the pride point where I'll finally pick one up..just a matter of time. Love these short builds you guys do, keep up the great work.
I know this series is probably already all recorded but there's a ton of contention about aftermarket intakes in the FRS/BRZ/86 groups. Some actually cause fuel trim issues that can lead to bad motor news. On a more positive note, those squishy bags for gear oil are magical 🤙
Here’s another tip from your uncle Gary. Use a pair of large channel locks to remove that doughnut. Clamp the gasket lightly with the channel locks and rotate, shaving it off with the teeth.
I think all fluids should come in those "flex fill" bags. What a great way to reduce waste, reduce shipping sizes, and simply make it easier to fill fluids. We've all spilled oil on the valve cover when trying to fill oil without a funnel. Speak to the folks at Valvoline and see if you can help them sway the market in a more eco-friendly way.
I don’t comment often but I just gotta say, this series is so great, so relatable and interesting. The Honda’s were great and it’s really exciting to see ideas of what to do with simple budget builds
Funny how cheap those are in North America,, although I've often been surprised by the difference in other cars too, I guess those Scions are marketed cheap to younger buyers in the first place. Over here in the UK we only get the Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ versions, but in both cases they are holding their value surprisingly well. Even fairly scruffy examples are still around the £12K mark.
Yup, cars in US always are so cheap 350z going for 4-7k Frs/gt86/brz for 7k Here in Europe are always stupid expensive even beaten ones, that is one thing europe can't compare with us In Portugal, where I live, u can't find a 350z below 20k, a mistake under 6k, its stupid, and makes us have shit cars
When you've got a nugget, you might as well have some fun with it! I really like the step up in production quality for this style of video. On the topic of valvoline sponsored videos, when are we going to see that sweet 13b go into a car? That build series was such a tease!
FYI: When you install the Grimmspeed strut tower brace, you have to use zip ties and some sort of tube insulation to zip-tie that AC line that's currently resting against the tube to the brake lines below - otherwise the wrinkle finish on the strut bar will wear through the AC line!
My buddy just told me about this video. Great quality of editing and humour! I feel like you guys were looking at my history because I wanted to build a rally/safari build for the potholes here in Brampton haha The hitch is for bikes, guys! I'm looking into Slambert's twinhitch instead. Can't wait for part 2
a small part of me was hoping this would be a Ricer 86 build. I always wanted an 86 to rice like we did back in the 90s. If it were my car I'd be happy where we're at already. Maybe plus some nice wheels.
Saw that FRS on the background of that last beemer video and I thought instantly that there is going to be one these quick builds on the way, which are nice way to see how few mods on different cars change the appearance of the vehicle. great work guys as always!
I had the same issue on my 3 year old STI with the exhaust donut gasket. Started chiseling the same way you did, then sprayed some penetrating lubricant on it overnight and it practically fell off the next day. Worth trying next time you're doing exhaust work on a rusty Subaru!
Nice finger choice to lube the filter 😂. Not that it’ll hurt anything, but the LS additive fluid is for clutch type LSD’s, doesn’t do much (or anything) on a torsen.
Why are you on the roof honey? Changing my diff fluid darling.
The honesty in the fluid pours were absolutely commendable. 😏
Boys stepping up the comedy, creative and editing side of their game. I LIKE!
I liked the improved editing and filming point but the "comedey" was kinda cringey
@@michelg.7006 that's the whole point!
It's not spilled oil, it's Canadian rust proofing!
My car leaking oil is just self under coating then 😉
This comment is pure gold🤌🏼
Thank you my friend, took the words right out of my mouth hahaha!
The Quick & Easy series is really fun, and I love all the service done to the car too! Great video!
The long distance pour needed the "From downtown!" soundbite from NBA Jam added
He's on FIRE
YESSSSS...

“Is it possible to learn this power?”
“Not from a Jedi”
As usual, here’s a comment for you guys to help boost your video!
what this guy said
I love rally/safari builds!
Dude! With all the hype of the safari Porsche it’s SO cool to do a rally-esque
FR-Safari build! I love this idea. I kinda want to build one now!
I love the more affordable build series. It’s what I’m doing now to my 04 civic. Great series!
Finally a FRS/BRZ/86 back on the channel! Automatic like
How the hell did I miss this particular SA series?!? Time to binge watch 🙌🏼
As a FRS owner, instant click & like
The long distance pour.... classic.
Glad you guys are treating trash like trash lol This is one of the best car channels on the tube!!!!
These Quick & Easy builds are a nice way to build visibility for the channel, alongside your more detailed series for the diehards.
Those oil bags have me face palming... why didn’t anyone think of this before!?
Immediately saw the Corsa exhaust. I click like.
I have one in the basement after putting on a catless header. love the sound.

I'm glad I'm not the only one getting squirrely with all the Ontario lockdowns
131 HP and 84 lb-ft of torque! What a monster!
Using that bag over the pump is a huge bonus!
The sound quality is so good it feels like im in the shop with them lol
That road trip was the best car audio quality I've ever heard
Here’s another tip from your uncle Gary. Use a pair of large channel locks to remove that doughnut. Clamp the gasket lightly with the channel locks and rotate, shaving it off with the teeth.
What an amazing way to use the proper lubrications. You have quite the aim 😉
Dave and Toyotas have a special bond.
I am from Mexico and I've been watching all off your videos guys...
Pure gold 🥇!!!

I’ve never enjoyed a fluid change video more than this.
I have to give it to Corsa, that exhaust does sound absolutely brilliant.
Yes!! the "Pimp my.." series is back!! love these quick mods episodes!!👏🏻😎🇦🇺
I don’t comment often but I just gotta say, this series is so great, so relatable and interesting. The Honda’s were great and it’s really exciting to see ideas of what to do with simple budget builds
Should have Pete do a cameo in the background adjusting his BMW oil cap :)Seriously though I love the creativity and the FRS build.
Yes, another 86 Project!!!

Corsa exhaust are the best had on all my cars. 💯 no drone and maximum sound.
Damn I can’t imagine living somewhere where it snows. (Ca here) the amount of surface rust on a 2013 car is incredible
Is your CA car rusty?
I love safari spec cars. Super fun to watch
In case he ever hears rattles. That grimspeed engine cover used to rattle to the point I took it off my 86.
i wish i could take my BRZ to get simple, practical modifications done by these awesome guys!
When you've got a nugget, you might as well have some fun with it! I really like the step up in production quality for this style of video. On the topic of valvoline sponsored videos, when are we going to see that sweet 13b go into a car? That build series was such a tease!
I'm so glad someone is doing something different with this chassis, definitely excited to see it all done well
I love that you guys have so much fun in these videos. It's fun for us to watch you guys goofing around and enjoying working on cars!
These new edits, production value, and honest shop antics are going to take this channel to the next level 🤘😲🤘
I like how it had a blown engine, and the trailer hitch explains why
Hahahahaha those fluid shots😂😂😂😂
That exhaust sounds really good! Not too loud but got a little growl
FYI: When you install the Grimmspeed strut tower brace, you have to use zip ties and some sort of tube insulation to zip-tie that AC line that's currently resting against the tube to the brake lines below - otherwise the wrinkle finish on the strut bar will wear through the AC line!
Use an oem-style donut gasket on the catback! It's gonna leak most likely, the donut allows for some wiggle room as well.
Lately I’ve thinking of the Safari build theme a lot cuz of the Datsun 240z Safari....and how it would translate to an FRS....And here we go!
That Corsa exhaust sounds great! Good choice! Looking forward to the rest of this build!
This episode is full of MAGIC!
Can't wait to see the suspension set up on this car. They seem like they'd be a ton of fun as a rallycross car
Hell yeah. I appreciate the hell out of this channel. You build the cars that we need but didn't know we needed.
I love watching these types of builds!
She's breathing now! Awesome build
The Valvoline bit made my day. When the tall pour missed the mark I had a good laugh.
My absolute favourite series on youtube
Looks like a bit of a hommage to mcm disrespected nose. I like it.
My buddy just told me about this video. Great quality of editing and humour! I feel like you guys were looking at my history because I wanted to build a rally/safari build for the potholes here in Brampton haha
The hitch is for bikes, guys! I'm looking into Slambert's twinhitch instead. Can't wait for part 2
dp FLUID POUR WAS COMPLETLEY LIT
Nice to see you fella's are getting into you inner Jedi!
Really stepped up your video editing game on this one. keep up the good work!
Gave an Altima I had a lift for a winter beater! It was awesome!
DP feeling himself in this one
a small part of me was hoping this would be a Ricer 86 build. I always wanted an 86 to rice like we did back in the 90s. If it were my car I'd be happy where we're at already. Maybe plus some nice wheels.
That exhaust sounds rough but I can't wait to see a rally frs!
I rarely comment, but I always drop a like. THIS time I had to drop a few lines to tell you guys how much I enjoyed the editing. Great job guys!
I remember a driver from Honda Michelin series that had a hitch on his car. Trailered a bunch of his equipment from Vancouver to Calgary.
Corsa Exhaust is the way to go!
That car needs a deep clean and some undercoating asap! I'm still waiting until these are 5-6k Canadian. Love these cars and these mini series!
Nice step up in humor and editing! Great stuff
That’s the perfect exhaust for that car. Good choice. 👍🏾
Saw that FRS on the background of that last beemer video and I thought instantly that there is going to be one these quick builds on the way, which are nice way to see how few mods on different cars change the appearance of the vehicle. great work guys as always!
Love it boys!!! The editing and the way you put the video together was great...had me laughing so much while I watched over my lunch break.
between you and NV you guys have all the twins action! drift/grip/overland/... next up drag??? Looking forward to seeing more. Sweet lube skills DP!
I love these types of builds!
High risk maneuver from the top ladder!
I had the same issue on my 3 year old STI with the exhaust donut gasket. Started chiseling the same way you did, then sprayed some penetrating lubricant on it overnight and it practically fell off the next day. Worth trying next time you're doing exhaust work on a rusty Subaru!
Hmmmmm...... I figured you guys would at least do a 2J or K swap for me. I guess there is 2 more episodes so I have a chance?
Love the little bit of goofiness!
Wow that exhaust sounds pretty damn good
You guys should check out the Subaru gravel express to take some inspiration such as fog lights, small front crash bar, mud flaps
I love the tips on that tailpipe sounds great too
Best auto channel ever!!! Love these series. I’ve been wanting to do a rally/safari Mini Cooper build for some time now.
Yes boys, YESSSS!!!
Loving the new format! 💪🏻
Really liked the style and little extras in this video
Those bits added were awesome
Nice finger choice to lube the filter 😂. Not that it’ll hurt anything, but the LS additive fluid is for clutch type LSD’s, doesn’t do much (or anything) on a torsen.
Dave squeezing that oil bag so satisfied lol
Love the idea of a Safari build! And the montage of work was great! Upping your production game!
I can smell the diff fluid from here!
The trailer hitch is probably to haul a mountain bike. That is what I used mine for when I had it.
I like that yall started making fun edits!!
Those montage shots were fantastic! Funny and very entertaining. Keep up the great work.
Lucky to live in Texas where we don't even get rust on the bolts under the car!
Love the montages in this one. Great soundtrack and wonderful camera work. Seems like you guys really had fun with this video. Well done, Gents!
Man.... I was thinking about buying one of these. I saw the thumbnail and I think you made my decision.
