Yes, the concept is, if your individual Averages is xbar then this will be considered as Xdbar. If you consider individual averages of subgroup as x then this will be Xbar. Happy Learning ahead.
Dear sir ,thanks for this video but I have questions about how to calculate cp & cpk when given unilateral tolerance ? Means we have given minimum penetration 0.3mm .then how to use formula ?
Use once sided Cpk, i.e. Minimum Tolerance given then consider Cpk Lower in concern with customer conformation. Hope it helps. Happy Learning ahead.

Also both formula's are same means then why we use these both studies...
During initial study (at the start of new project ) only we doing pp & ppk study , and at regular production we doing cp& cpk study ??...is it right ??
