Spiritual Leadership In Buddhism: How They Are Effectively Organized

This video discusses how Buddhist leaders are organized spiritually. It goes over the importance of spiritual leadership in Buddhism, and what it entails to be a spiritual leader.

One of the most important things to know about Buddhists is that there are two ways of practicing Buddhism that we can think of as "schools". These schools are known as Mahayana and Theravada. Most countries where Buddhism is practiced follow one or the other, and they are the most publicized of the Buddhist schools. However, there are other schools that are practiced by various Buddhist sects throughout Asia. Some examples include Zen, Nichiren, and Pure Land. I'll go over these briefly at some point in this series for those who are curious about them.
