That man held himself accountable. Didn't point the finger at anyone else
Yes its positively scary
LeBron could learn from this kid.
And they say kd them better he swept them and then when he lost he held his self accountable any the future gone head and retire big fellas
Sometimes holding only yourself accountable isn't the best thing to do. Saying that implies you're the most important player and everyone else is irrelevant. Like he's Jesus Christ dying for our sins or something. Placing all the blame on yourself solves nothing.
Too much 😺
Love that Anthony Edwards places the blame of the loss on himself, holds himself accountable, doesn’t blame his teammates, doesn’t take his attitude out on reporters, smiles most of the time. A true leader. 👏👏👏
Love this about Ant taking accountability. LeBalco James meanwhile gets his teammates traded and coaches fired!!!
How can you not love Ant? I’m a huge denver fan btw
How can you not blame self if you were off? Yall lack logic, one player can only do so much. If a guy drops 40,12,15 & his team doesn't play well, why the hell would he blame himself for losing? That's not LEADERSHIP,you lead by example not just words. Your play is all the leadership you need to exhibit as a star of your team, that's all you can CONTROL. Yall reaching for straws at this point & glazing everything that has already been done & said 😂😂
@@Darealkingrichardbro did all that yapping and said a whole lot of nothing

This is how a leader responds!! As a celtics fan I Wish tatum had the same mentality as Ant :(
Doesnt have physical abilities. No mental gonna change fact he doesnt have dominant way to score.

You're right, I believe the Nuggets will do just that
Nuggets already took Wolves best shots. Now it's their turn
That is how responsibility is taken, best player steps up and takes it, takes the punch on himself 💪👍
This is when he took it personal!
As a Nuggets fan, i like this guy!
Minnesota unlocked the 2023 Nuggets.
It’s one game. Let’s see how they hold up.
Let's just hope the woke up because the energy since the post season started has been horrible
Acting this way at age 22.
This man will have multiple rings by age 30
Taking ownership like that. Is a key in business life and sports. Seeing a young man with his talents do that on this stage. That's d straight up frightening. I'm a manager and learned that much much later in life and have colleagues who still haven't. It makes your team work and take ownership too, and if everyone feels ownership over everything there ain't anything that can stop you
i will be surprised if he wins more then 2 and even that’s pushing it. he’s a great player however the league is too stacked now especially moving forward. too much talent everywhere it’s hard for one player/team to win multiple rings. it’s not like 10+ years ago where you can just have 1 or 2 teams run the gauntlet.
Love this about Ant taking accountability. LeBalco James meanwhile gets his teammates traded and coaches fired!!!
True Leader, true role model most players should learn from👏👏👊
He didn’t blames another player nor did he blame the coach. He held himself accountable. That’s what’s up. The League is in good hands. The Force is strong in this one.
Love this guy.
Respect. So much respect for how this young man carries himself.
Nuggets fan here glad to have that guy in the league whatever the series will look like
At least he's not dumping teammates like a specific elderly man in this league

Y'all making fun of an old man is crazy if he was still in his prime with his current teammate he would easily win against denver
That’s a man right there. Big man accountability!
As a Timberwolves fan and a Minnesota native, I always hated every time someone talked about Timberwolves sweeping the Nuggets like they’re not the defending champs. We’ll get them next game.
Wolves went to the game thinking its a wrap and got punched in the gut. Game 4 will be interesting..
"I let my team down" this is what a future champion sounds like. Are you listening Jason Tatum?
He did indeed comeback Sunday. 44 pts on 64% shooting
I don't follow the NBA very closely since I became an adult many years ago I was obsessed when I was a teenager but I have been paying close enough attention to know the basics of what's going on. this year I've been paying attention since the playoffs started and watching most of the games (in the background not super locked in to be honest) but I didn't know anything about Anthony Edwards and watching him for the first time in the Suns series and that amazing poster dunk I was like OMG i might be watching another GOAT in the making. This short clip of him taking responsibility (after saying if we win 3 in a row we still gonna punch them in the mouth in game 4 LOL) shows me his head is in the right place. Looking forward to watching this kid become great.
He's not going to be a goat, you need to watch his performance at the skills challenge.
MJ or Kobe would never show up like that, ANT doesn't have the mamba mentality
The skills challenge 😂
If it's Lebron, blame the coach.
Man that’s why I hope they actually do make him player-coach of the Lakers. Then when they miss out on the postseason next year, who will he blame?

I’ve always liked boxing analogy in a playoff series. Every loss is a punch you take. But you feel out your opponent, their weakness. And you counter. Like a boxing match - it’s a war, not a battle.
Wild. Even in the way he talks, especially the cadence, is just like Mike.
I became a fan of this kid this year along with Wemby. Both of them can legit be the face of the league like how Bron and Curry were for years.
Antman put his team on his back
If he remains healthy, with this attitude he is going far!
Timberwolves win: Ant credits the team, usually calling out specific teammates' contributions by name
Timberwolves lose: "That's on me; I'll take the blame for this loss."
I love this man.
blowing nuggets out by 30 points was a mistake at home, i figured that would get them pissed
If only LeChoke had half the integrity that Ant has
Love this about Ant taking accountability. LeBalco James meanwhile gets his teammates traded and coaches fired!!!
They got a real deal leader over there 💯
He gonna let them down three more times in this series
Class act. Hard not to root for him. Go wolves.
This is how someone with not enough experince responds. He has plenty of time to learn the true meaning of team sport. With that attitude he will be just another guy with couple of fine seasons and then nothing.
Love the energy man! This is a leader, not pointing fingers just taking responsibility and guess what, that is gonna boost the morale of his teammates. Thank god kd and especially lbj are about to retire and tgis guy is gonna run the show. The previous generation had great talent but weak mentality.
A like this young man speaks no bull
So refreshing. Kids growing on me.
lol he called minnisota garbage town
😂😂😂.
😂😂
Last time, he said he should be good after a loss like this he proceeded in that next Gane with a huge scoring game!
Ant is the star we've been waiting for since Kobe retired. Bron is (obviously) older, and has been our bridge to some of those yesteryears of the NBA; Ant is like an old-school, hungry, charismatic and accountable star. Dude has major Jordan/Kobe vibes, with the media chops of LeBron. He rules.
As a Wolf, he said all the correct things.

The new face of the league!!!! 🐜 man 💪🏾💯
I hit a game winner with this man on 2k lastnight! I was so freakin hyped.
The Timberwolves have bounce back all year im not worried
So do I. As a nuggets fan.
You should be worried
u should be
You should be very worried that Murray has his bounce back. You guys win G1 by 7 and had 5 of those points on lucky bank shots by 2 bigs with ugly jumpers not to mention Murray having an awful night.
This game and the last game of the regular season between these two is more like what this series would be like.
If it was a wire to wire game, then I’d believe your confidence. But you saw us at our best and you guys caved. Had all the momentum in the world, every talking head was predicting sweep and then boom. Big loss.
Next game won’t be this far out but Denver knows. It’s going back to Denver for a 3 game series
Its the defending champion..no explanation..

@@christianr1941 Yes! People are that sick of that over-rated whiny b!t€h.
They better win the next game. Otherwise they will start feeling the pressure and those role players won't be making all those shots they did in the first couple of games. In the playoffs you have to kick teams when they are on the ground and not give them any hope, especially if its a defending champion.
This is facts.. ball was in Conleys hands wayy too much to start Ant knows he gotta go at em
Outro song pls
Well, the silver lining in this disastrous effort was the fact that they acknowledged they never came close to playing their best to the game, and that they didn't play up to their abilities.
Saying that about themselves regarding Game 3, and playing their best in Game 4, are two different things.
Minnesota HAS to know they can't go back to Denver at 2-2.
They must win game 4, which will give them a Game 6 opportunity to close out the series, if they should come out flat again in Game 5.
Kudos to Mike Malone for having his team play like the defending champions they are.
Them guys at inside the nba live to jinx ppl when shaq and Charles was saying sweep I knew it wouldn't be
Listening to Stephen A and KP taking about Nuggets getting swept , never believed that for a second , emotionally attached 1:06 to Ant man, who will be a superstar in time
Pulling for Denver to kill the media hype.
He wasn't bad, just super passive and waiting for the others to get going. Don't do that again. The others were trash and lost the game.
I'm a big ant man fan since he was a rookie. So I have watched a lot of his games. He gets passive at times and sometimes takes himself out of the play or tries to get his teammates involved a lot. It's not a bad thing. He is not as aggressive as ppl think he is. In this last game, he should have been a little more ball dominate. Then, look for his teammates. He will learn as he gets older
He's young, I think with experience he'll learn to turn it up. I'm seeing it with Kyrie in his games where he plays more defence and then turns up when needed.
Playoff P got something to learn from this kid and Luka
Imagine how well this is going to age if they actually win the championship
The game was at 55 -85 over. They played the 4 th quarter with reserves
Learned from the GOAT.
It's good to hold one's self accountable, but in all honesty, you didn't let your team down; rather, the defending champions suffocated you and your team.
LFG Ann💪🏻
Next on First Take: “Edwards is the first to take accountability for his team ALA Michael Jeffrey Jordan! This brotha is somethin special!”
It’s ridiculous. Dudes accomplished nothing so far and the media are obsessed with finding the “new face of the league”. He’s about to get bounced by the champs.
He’s accomplished nothing and they just glaze. The media is just looking for the next “face of the league.” Denver probably gonna knock them out.
Absoulutley, this guy is so much on hype, i understand he's young, but with that attitude he 'll become just another one between 1000+ guys who played in Nba. @@jeffreyhoit7367
Good PR for AE
AE is the definition of a professional basketball star holding himself accountable but the officials were terrible
This was the First time Denver took a game seriously this post season.
The Ant Man is gonna respond with a 50 piece in a big game 4 win. This is what MJ does after a big loss in the playoffs.
They’re rigging it for Denver. No foul calls first two games made timberwolves looked great now this game exact opposite. Nuggets will win 4-2 or 4-3.
The wolves had more free throws and less pf against them cry more
Stop comparing these young men to MJ, let them have them own personalities, & awesomeness. They have their own character.❤
They should have gone to Ant more early on to open things up for the shooters. KAT also started 4 for 4 from 3 but they didn't go to him as much after that.
Yall gotta stop calling young guys mj they dont need that pressure. Im glad my guy jalen is still underestimated for what hes gonna become but I feel for ANT. the media is already in his guts far too crazy
lots of ' you wait and see" behind that smile😉😉😉😉😉😉😉
I love the accountability Anthony Edwards takes in that interview. I wish Lebron would take that kind of ownership. All you get from Lebron is, " it's the coach..it's the other players..it's etc..As a Laker fan since 1986, I am hoping Lebron leaves this off season.

Edwards is decent, and it's refreshing to hear someone take the blame rather than blame their their coach, the refs and their teammates (LeBron). That said, the Wolves are trash. Nuggets in 6. You can take that to the bank!
Love this about Ant taking accountability. LeBalco James meanwhile gets his teammates traded and coaches fired!!!
This had everything to do with Jamal Murray hitting shots and playing, coming into the series he was taking 22 shots to average 22 ppg, he can't play like that and beat any credible team in the playoffs.
