راکھ پر ہاتھ تاپے ہے تو کیا
مجھ کو پیمانہ وقت ناپے تو کیا
خاک سے لولگائے تو کیا
میرے بسرے ہوئے گیت گائے تو کیا
پھول لائے تو کیا
اب تو آدھی صدی ہوگئی ہڈیوں کو ٹھٹھرتے ہوئے
قبر پر گاؤں کی چاندی کو نکھرتے ہوئے
اوس کے آنسوؤں کو بھرتے ہوئے
اب مجھے انتظار شناس سخن ہی نہیں
پاس فن ہی نہیں
کوئی اپنے لئے حُسنِ زن ہی نہیں
