I'm South African and got married to a wonderful Nigerian man (Igbo). I learnt to cook some of the Nigerian dishes on UA-cam. I love Ogbono soup. Yummy :)
For the first time my hubby finished his food and even asked for more because of your method of making ogbono...You are indeed a game changer. Well done Ma
I made this many times. After cooking meat in seasoned water... Meat will be in oven for that brown texture and a little hardness. Take some seasoned water and dilute ogbono then put that back to the broth. Then add the meat and mix some leafy vegetables. I love this soup for it's sticky graviness and tastes buttery nutty flavour. I just like watching these videos again and again. Nice recipe
Thank you sis Yemi for the simple yet effective way of making ogbono soup,😘 my ogbono is 50/50 chance lol... I was abit nervous to pour the ogbono into my meat because I don’t want to loose both ways but Glory be to God it came out perfect my sister, thank you once again. Let me go eat with my poundo yam
Thank you, I needed a fast recipe, yours was to the point, no messing around. I'm not feeling too well so this will be quick to prepare. Thanks again keep up the good work
Thanks for the preparation. but for me I love the old way of cooking this very soup. that is the real native way of cooking it special and delicious. no onion, no fresh pepper.

From the time you added the Ogbono to finish time, How long did you cook the Ogbono??? I like this method better than frying the Ogbono I can never get the frying method right
We love this technique of cooking Ogbono soup, we make it slightly different, but would try this next time. However 'SisiYemmie bae', we noticed you've cut down on the palm oil intake, much healthier now...lol.....we likey...loving you all the same. Love from, well, you know who xoxo.
Your write ups were not that cleared. Plus i don't know what you added last before cooking the chicken i mean the black stuff you added to the chicken. Thanks for the video. Please respond to my question thanks.
