I'm South African and got married to a wonderful Nigerian man (Igbo). I learnt to cook some of the Nigerian dishes on UA-cam. I love Ogbono soup. Yummy :)

Very nice and simple. Unlike the other people display evidence of wealth by adding 100 kinds of meat and fish. Yours is straight to the point. Thank u

For the first time my hubby finished his food and even asked for more because of your method of making ogbono...You are indeed a game changer. Well done Ma

I made this many times. After cooking meat in seasoned water... Meat will be in oven for that brown texture and a little hardness. Take some seasoned water and dilute ogbono then put that back to the broth. Then add the meat and mix some leafy vegetables. I love this soup for it's sticky graviness and tastes buttery nutty flavour.
I just like watching these videos again and again. Nice recipe

We love this technique of cooking Ogbono soup, we make it slightly different, but would try this next time. However 'SisiYemmie bae', we noticed you've cut down on the palm oil intake, much healthier now...lol.....we likey...loving you all the same. Love from, well, you know who xoxo.
